Hello everyone;

I'm about to buy a vacation house for my wealthy elder sim couple, but they won't live forever and I was wondering wether when they die, their kids who don't live with them anymore would inherit it and be allowed to use it.

If it's not possible, then I've been thinking of moving one of their kids with them (though it's not my prefered option) and move her out afterwards because I want her to live on a bigger lot, but do sims keep their vacation house when they move out to another house?

I've looked around the forum but haven't found an answer to this yet.
Thanks for you answers!

Asuka, I found this on the main BBS

Vacation home ownership can be transferred to other household members. There should be an option on the Propose menu and on the deed.
Moving the deed to someone else's inventory doesn't transfer ownership.
Giving the deed to someone as a gift doesn't transfer ownership.
Vacation homes are inherited by the same rules used for inheriting businesses. (Household members first, relatives second, friends third)

Thanks a lot kennyinbmore !
I've actually never been to the sims2 official forum and it is the last place I would have thought of, so sorry for the already answered question. And I've never tried to inherit a business either, so it's a big discovery for me today!
