I've tried using the boolProp roofSlopeAngle (insert number here) cheat to change the angles of the roofs on my new Apartment Block.

So I type in what you see above and...

nothing

Great. I don't know if there's some sort of limitation that's been put in or something, but please help anyway you can.

Thx,
A very confused Sims 2-er.

That's strange, it's definetely working for me, even in apartment buildings. It might be a stupid question, but are you building an apartment lot when you insert the cheat, or are you doing it in an existing one. Because in the latter case, I don't think you can change anything at all.

It is not a boolean property- you just need to type:
roofslopeangle xx
or:
individualroofslopeangle xx
Where xx is the angle you require.
I have it in my userstartup.cheat file like this:

alias rsa "roofslopeangle"
alias irsa "individualroofslopeangle"

So in my game I just type:
rsa xx
or:
irsa xx

Also (not trying to be rude here I swear :D) have you clicked on the roof with ctrl-alt held? I forget to do that all the time.

To answer Nerina's question, I'm building a new apartment block altogether.

And to simsample, I tried that too. Doesn't work.

Thing is I did it on another house a while back...
and it worked.

I know individualroofslopeangle works on apartments, used it a number of times.

Maybe it's a game bug. Individualroofslopeangle never worked for me. The other one works just fine.

Roofslopeangle doen't require clicking the roof like the individualroofslopeangle does. However, if you are trying to change an apartment roof bear in mind that you'll most likely have to enable the apartment baselot specific tools.

Again for simsample: Thing is, I haven't changed the lot zoning to be Apartments. According to the game, it's still a usual residential lot...
