Since MySims is being released for PC soon (including new online stuff as well), I'm considering getting a copy of it.

I thought that it looked kind of cute, but I'm not a fan of all of the Wii stuff in general, so of course I couldn't get a copy.

A few quick questions:

- Is it worth it? I mean, for those of you who have played [the original], would you consider it to be a good purchase?

- Is it similar in gameplay/design to Animal Crossing? I've played Animal Crossing: Wild World for DS and I thought it was pretty fun.

I have it for DS. I personally think that it gets terribly boring after a while.

- No, it is not worth the purchase.

- They are sort of the same, but they still have many differences.

I have the game for Wii. Its sort of like animal crossing, you're just running around doing favors for other sims to get blueprints to either do a favor or build up your own house.

It was fun for me but I wouldn't recommend it if you didn't like games like animal crossing or harvest moon games.

Hmm, I'll keep weighing the options... Even if I do get it, it probably won't be until after Christmas anyway.

Thanks for the responses so far, guys. :D

I wanted the Wii version, but never got it. I'm now more excited for the PC version because it supposedly features online play and more customizable stuff. I hear the DS version is considerably different and involves more minigames and such. As for the Wii version, I thought it would be a bit different from Animal Crossing in that you've got more building and less collecting. I know about the essences and stuff, but still.
