Hey ya everyone. This is Lalia here for SimCity’s Next Top Model: Fantasy
Okay so let’s skip all the niceties and get into what this competition is all about. For all of you that love modeling but aren’t human this competition is for you. It’s basically just Next Top Model but for non-humans. The biggest rule is no humans. Otherwise if you’re anything from alien to vampire, elf, or witch here’s the place for you.

Okay now that we have that cleared up, sorry humans, let’s get down to the nitty grittys.

Basics: This cycle is for female models only. Cycle two, if this one goes well, will be for males. And then I might possibly do a third cycle for couples.
There will be five rounds to this contest. The application round and then four other’s. The application round will give us our 15 contestants. Then each subsequent round will eliminate three contestants. So at the end of the fourth round we will be left with our top three models. Although only one will be named the top model and the other two will be runner’s up. (If we end up with less than 15 contestants I will alter the eliminations)

Timeline: Here is a tentative time line.
Application: May 25- June 3
Round 1: June 7-9
Round 2: June 10-13
Round 3: June 16-18
Round 4: June 21-23

The judging might alter slightly for each round but that’s for latter.

Rounds:
Each round will include four pictures. Three that are specified by the round rules and a guideline shot (basically this picture will have more free reign than the other three).
Each round will have a different scenario story that you will have to follow, as well as it’s own criteria.

Rules:

Rule one: No humans. (yeah, yeah, I already said that but it’s the first and most important rule)

Rule two: You must have some identifying future that shows you are not human. Here are some guidelines, though if you have some other way to show you aren’t human go ahead and use it.
- Unnatural skin tone (this does not mean you simply use a custom skin tone. If you use this identifying feature it must be an unnatural color for skin. This does include pale skin for vampires and fur for werewolves or other creatures. Also a vampire can not be tan. It must be extremely pale or the classic grey Maxis skin tone.)
- Unnatural hair color (If you use this you must make a mention in your application that this is your natural hair color and not just dyed hair. Also the whole head of hair doesn‘t have to be unnatural it could just be a streak in the hair or something similar.)
-Pointed or other oddly shaped ears (we must be able to tell from your photographs that your ears are not human shaped if this is your only identifying feature. Therefore in creating your fantasy sim do not use a hair style that covers or makes the ears difficult to see.
-Clothing (This is best used with one of the others. You can’t just slap on a medieval dress and say you have a witch.
-Hair Style (This is good to use with clothing if you are doing a witch since certain hairstyles are basically medieval, so combined with a medieval outfit you’ll have a great witch.)
-Makeup(Yeah it’s not just for looking pretty. Having your whole face sparkle can really show that you aren’t human.)
-Accessories (you know like wings, not just sunglasses.)

Rule three: You must use modeling hacks. Maxis posing will not do it. This is one of the main things you will be judged on is your posing.

Rule four: Sim contestant must be an adult.

Rule five: Photoshop may be used. Such as to add a background that you don’t have in game, change the sky etc. Photoshop may not be used on the sim. In other words the posing must all be done in game and you can not use Photoshop to make your sim pose. You want a difficult pose learn how to use overlay. And you may not use Photoshop to change the sims clothing, hair color, etc. Use cc.

Rule six: All pictures must be taken in game or using print screen. This way you will be encouraged to use in game scenery for your background.

Rule seven: You can not use a downloaded sim. The sim must be your own creation. Not someone else’s with just a tweak or two. Of course you’ll need cc but download it separately and put together a new sim. Also don’t just download the parts for a sim you like and then put it together. Your entry must be a new creation of yours. (Although if you do have a fantasy sim lying around that’s your own creation that hasn’t been uploaded and shared with the public you may use them.)

Application Round:
SimCity Modeling has decided to recognize it’s Fantasy class (yes this includes aliens). They have started a competition to find the city’s best and prettiest fantasy sim. For this round you will be posting a close up facial shot, a profile shot, and a full body shot. The full body shot must have a neutral background. Nothing fancy. Just a white background will do for this round.
The last picture can be whatever your heart desires. Although in later contests I will give a guideline for your last picture of something I would like to see.
You should include a bio of your sim.

I've actually never heard of those. So to make it simple let's just say any hack or mod that is used in game is acceptable If all you know how to use is simpose or simmerizing then go ahead and use them I won't be too strict on this, I just want a chance for those who don't have photoshop skills (like me) to be able to have a chance. And anyways there are a lot of pose boxes out there and with the time slowed down you can get a lot of interesting things.

Edit: Someone actually explained to me what those are. I will be allowing simmerizing but not simpose.

In my home planet, the only thing that saved me from being cast out for being a half breed was the fact that my mother was the queen, and i was raised by various governesses and nannies, unlike other halfbreed children who were put into special orphanages. i lived an extremely privilged life, until i decided to go on a trip to Sim City with some friends.

We were just going to go shopping, but an incorrect head count done by the ship's captain led to me being left behind. left behind in a city where i didn't know anyone, and my level 2 understanding of the language didn't help either.

Thankfully I met a kind Cladaghian Pollination Technician in Strangetown who helped nurse me back to health after i suffered severe burns all over my body. That sun thing sure makes everything hot! His wife was very kind too, and helped me discover my passion for modeling when she asked me to be a "living mannequin" for her clothes.

Her style was a bit too "suburban mom" for my tastes, so i decided to move to Veronaville soon after, where the fashion scene is totally buzzing! I saw an ad for an SNTM casting call, and i just knew i had to come and try.
I know people will say i only got here because of my background, but i want to prove to everyone that i'm willing to work as hard as i have to to prove that i can be an elite model!

While I was out patrolling, Princess Adsea called me in to speak with me. "What have I done this time?" I asked myself.

I was speechless and almost fell to the ground. I could barely utter an answer. "I can see your mother in you," Princess Adsea proclaimed. My mother was famous throughout the land for her beauty. so, this was a major compliment. I had one question on my mind though, "How are we connected to SimCity, your highness?" "Just beyond our little forest kingdom is a place called Pleasantville. We live right along side them and are part of their town although they do not even know it!" The Princess laughed, then she gave me one of her dresses, had her personal maids to style me, and I was sent on my way.

I know not what she truly is, but I have seen her do things in times of desperation that I do not believe are of this universe. My position names me the most skilled warrior on the planet. I am not a soldier, but Corlei's generals report to me and seek my counsel. My golden blade and I are seldom far apart.

Power and rank do not ensure happiness, though, as I have painfully learned. Some time ago, I foolishly and irreversibly fell in love. His name is Halcyon. He is a scholar and diplomat, and the fact that he is my complete opposite only made him more fascinating. Ours was an unspoken, unconsummated love, but neither of us had felt anything as intense as our longing for each other. We have never acted upon it because we know it would affect our ability to act objectively in the line of duty. He has since turned his eyes toward Khari, a lady-in-waiting to Andanalye. Khari is kind, quiet, gentle, and far more beautiful than I. I know she will make him happy, but it brings me little comfort.

Born two hundred and four years ago, Jana Orias is not the name that I was given at birth. It is a name of my own creation and one that I use in public so that my true identity might remain hidden. Born to Bannor and Kylar, my father was not a constant figure in my life - through little fault of his own, I hasten to add. A curse inflicted upon him long before my birth dictates that he may spend only three days per year in his true coporeal form. It is because of those shrouded, telepathic creatures that I found it necessary to develop an alternate identity when I left home.

Percieved wrongs are not easily forgotten in the place my parents originate from, and even now...several centuries later...my family are still hounded for their blood. Naturally this includes me and so the further removed I am from my parents and my brother, the safer all will be.

Though the people devoted to capturing me are always gaining precious ground, I at least feel safe in the domicile where I currently reside. An industrial, concrete shell though it appears on the outside - within it is furnished in such a way that I at least, believe it appears like home. My worldy possessions are few, but when the need to flee is an ever-present danger it makes so little sense to accumulate expensive wares.

Perhaps you will learn more of me as we proceed, but perhaps not. Perhaps I will speak truthfully, but for your sakes do not count on it. I do hope however, that I find some entertainment in what I do here. Anything at this stage is a most welcome distraction from monotony.

The place in which I reside stands at only one storey high, however there is a small derelict balcony by the roof. The landscape is grey and barren but just sometimes, when the twin suns sip below the distant horizon, one can imagine a time when this place was beautiful. War and strife changed it forever less than one-hundred years ago and now it is classified as a no-man's land. I call it Home.

As far as I am aware I am the only one who knows of this buildings long-standing and continued existence, as all other buildings were rendered into rubble during the wars. No military vehicles pass this way due to the restrictions, but even if that were not so I think I would remain unconcerned. Being so concerned with the possibilites of danger as a child, those same thoughts as no longer with me. I became pragmatic, as you may see as we continue. What will be will be. I am told my father possesses...or possessed, a similar attitude and this thought warms my heart some.

As you might imagine I live alone, and my life thus far does not lend itself toward having any longstanding relationships. That may alter in the future, but then it may not. I have seen how the love two people have for each other can extend across even the most complicated and strangest of barriers, and perhaps a part of me that has remained locked all this time hopes the same can be said of me centuries from now.

Hi, I'm Amelia Everson. I am 19 years old and I'm a pixie. I was born in the forest of Greenberry Hills. I am not like all of the other pixies in Greenberry Hills; I have weird imprints all over my body. However, I feel that this is what makes me unique and will help me stand out in this contest. When I heard of this contest I was so excited. I have always wanted to be in SimCity's Next Top Model, but I felt that I could never compete against those beautiful humans. I just didn't measure up. This contest though, I feel like I can and I will try my hardest to win.

Mordia Von Absinthe is my name, at least that is what my creator made. I remember almost nothing before my transformation except the last few days. As you can see I am mostly vampire but every Full Moon, I transform into a mermaid, which is happen even when I was mortal.

My final days as a human were spent preparing for an arranged marriage. Not only was I forced into it, I hated the man since I was a child. He was at least 25 years my senior. I was saved by my creator, told the basics and he left. I have been alone since then.

I have been wondering from country to country looking for any of my kind with no luck until I found Sim City. Not only are there vampires here, they are readily accepted into the nightlife.

Here, you can actually see me during the painful transformation. Everthing changes. My skin turns blue with a iridescent sheen, my eye intensify in both color and my sight range. It may hurt but I have gotten used to it. I am hping that I have finally found my niche within the modeling community.

I notice you only have three posts so far? On the other forums you had to have a certain amount of posts before you could post images so that may be the problem that you're encountering. I assume you tried to post images previously, in the posts you deleted?

Hello, Im Lila. . Yes, I know I don't look very . . . different. Well, the truth is I'm not-- mostly. I'm a forest nymph, we have powers over plants, and the elements. We look basically like humans save for the vibrant eyes, and pointed ears. But thats enough for us to be unsafe.

You see, our race is ruled by Aslor. Aslor is our supreme ruler, but many nymphs-- including I -- band together into small civilizations with smaller rulers with there own rules, as well as Aslor's. Nymph's are generally free creatures and are free to do as we may. . . so long as we follow one rule. We can't be seen by humans. We confine ourselfs deep into the woods, using spells and illusions to stay protected from the humans. But as soon as we leave these confines . . . we can easily be seen.

You see, five years ago I broke this rule, and this is how I have ended up where I am today. While roaming through the forest one day I encountered a man -- a human. At first I stood there, frozen by curiousity, not able to bring myself to hide. He was tall, with pale blond hair and dark eyes. He was very handsome. The man hadn't seen me yet-- I quickly remembered Aslor's rule and moved to hide. But it was in this movement that he saw me. He called out, asking if anyone was there. He walked over to where I was, frozen, crouched behind a tree. He walked forward and called out again-- that's when he saw me. At first he must have thought I was human, for he acted normal. He asked If I was ok, and helped me up. Thats when he noticed my eyes, and ears. He stood there, motionless-- it was long time till he spoke again. What are you? he asked. He opened his mouth to say more, but I interupted him. I was so deep in thought, I hadn't even noticed what I was doing. I reached forward and touched his face. At first I thought for sure he'd pull away and run for his life-- but he did not. He stayed still, and returned the gesture.

It was from then on we were inseperable. His name was Cliff, and he was from Sim City. Almost every day, we met in that same spot. At first it was awkward, but the awkwardness soon passed. I told him what I was, even though I was sure I wasn't supposed to and we talked. This continued for many months; I showed him around the forest, to all the woods greatest wonders and most beatiful spots. And it was after many months, at the point were my heart ached when I wasn't with him-- that I realized:
I was in love with him.

The day after I made this realization I confronted him, and he said he felt the same way. I'd never in all my life been so happy. But that's when it got bad. Really bad. One day, I was with my father; it was not too long ago that I was confronting Cliff about my feelings. I was talking to him when I accidently blurted something out about Cliff. My father was the king of our city, Moonshine. If it were any other person, it may not have turned out so bad, but It was him. He got the information out of me and told me If I didn't lead him to Cliff he would never allow me to see him again. I couldn't take that chance; I waited till It was our meeting time, and walked to that spot and waited for him as my father waited for him on higher ground. He came a short while later, and came forward and kissed me. For the first time ever! But the happiness lasted only moments, 'till it was replaced with sadness. My father had watched it all, and the harmless, little kiss -- infuriated him. So furios . . . that he killed him.

Cliff and finished our meeting, and I returned home with my father-- who said nothing the whole way. The next day I came to the meeting spot . . . to find him dead. He had been murdered-- by my father. My father had beat me to the spot, took a bow, and shot Cliff through the heart. My own father . . .

I was so sad. I fled the forest and took residence in Sim City. Even though I was breaking the rule 100 times over by living so close to so many humans. . . . it made me feel closer to Cliff. I've lived there ever since and just a short while ago I heard about Sim City's Next Top Model: Fantasy. It was too good an oppurtunity to pass up! I could be around other people like me! I'm so excited I can hardly contain it!

I have decided that no one will be eliminated from the applications round. Partially because I don't have judging results yet and partially because I feel nice today. However this will mean that there will be more eliminations in the later rounds. Anyways here is round 1.

The Treasure Quest
For the first photo shoot we have decided to do a traditional fantasy quest. Your first photo should be you searching for the treasure with a party (a few stand in's will do the job). The second picture is you finding the treasure. And the last would be a close up of you with the treasure. The setting is to your choosing but it should be something like a dungeon, forest, or some other adventures terrain. The treasure should be something of value other than gold, although a crown or jewels is acceptable. Your fourth free picture should be one of you with your most treasured item. Good luck.

My boyfriend, his sister, and I set out on a quest to find an ancient hieroglyfics slate in rock caves up in the mountains. We didn't have to walk most of the way, instead we drove up. But, once we got near the site, we had to walk the rest of the way. All we knew about the slates location, was that it was located on the edge of the left hand side of the small Mount Pybodie. So, with that knowledge, we walked and walked and walked the left hand section for half a day. Finally, after 6 and a half hours of walking (and occassionally stopping), we thought we had came across it.

We went in for a closer view, and YES(!) we had actually found the ancient slate! It was quite enjoyable, and we mingled around it for like 2 hours. It's size was proof that it wasn't going to budge, of course, so it was here to stay . . . for good. We finished up our resting, eating, and taking tons of pictures before the time come that we needed to head back before dark.

This journey would have not been possible, had it not of been for my greatest, most prized treasure: Michael. He was the muscle behind the adventure, and kept us all pushing forward, even when his sister . . . ok and I . . . wanted to stop. We will all three share this memmory, but him and I will share even more!

The only work I had lately was watching over the Princess at social functions. Those sorts of “missions” aren’t any fun at all to me. I have to put on a huge dress to blend in with everyone, and hide my bow under a huge skirt. The parties would last all night long. So, I asked Princess Adsea could I please, please have another mission. “I thought you enjoyed being at court,” she said. “Oh, I do Great Princess, it’s just...” I struggled for the right words to say. “You’re tired of wearing dresses and dancing all night,” the princess giggled. Fine, you shall have another type of mission. Do not complain to me about the dirt and bugs then.” I thanked her so many times that day.

Someone had stolen some of the key potions from the vault along with other treasures. I was sent deep into the forest with two warriors and a mage. Our job was to retrieve the items. After searching for hours, we couldn’t find a thing. So, I decided to get into a nearby tree to scout for a trace of the stolen goods.

I could see something! It was over a hill, however it was going to take us at least two days to get there. The news wasn’t very well received by everyone. One of our warriors clearly stated, “If I get my hands on that thief they will be eating my blade for dinner!”She proudly swung her sword while making that statement. Meanwhile, everyone else looked around to see if there was any danger close to us.

After fighting various goblins we finally made it to the treasure. I was so happy, I couldn’t help pointing out the obvious. Some of us couldn’t believe our eyes. Our mage cast a spell on us so that we would have the strength to go all of the way back.

After reporting to the Princess. I went back into my room, still wearing my court dress. I could stand before Father’s daggers with pride. I admire my father so much, I hope to be half the warrior he was one day. He died in battle when I was a teenager. I can still remember him showing me how to polish them. Sometimes when I hold them, I think I can still hear Father’s resonating deep voice. I think he’s probably saying he’s proud of me.

You may ask what could a vampire want more than riches, power and fame? You guessed it: blood, but not anyones blood. There had been ledgends for centuries about the original vampire, the queen of the damned. She was kept in a castle, but none were to know where she was. I began my quest with two of the old known living vampires, Marius and Dante, both of which have spent their lives (or deaths if you will) searching for her. Her blood is rumored to have intense power that increases energy and maybe even protection fom the sun.

We crept into her last known tomb and searched the never ending hallways. They were littered with booby traps and hidden rooms. After days of searching and our team almost giving up, we found a room with light resonating under the door.

At last we had found our desintaion and the queens coffin. I was told she was unable to move, her long turned to stone but her blood still ran warm.

We drained just enough for the three of us and toasted with our well found accomplishments. We now had her blood running through us, we we part of her.

My most prized posession is my crystal ball. I have had it for quite a while, I found it whilst digging for seashells during on of my first transformations. It shows me anything I want to see anytime. This was how I was able to find the queen of the damned.

Well the host hasn't checked in for a very long time now, and the initial post hasn't been edited in 17 days to reflect any changes. I've been in a lot of contests over here and usually when that happens, it's due to abandonment... Which is unfortunate, because I was enjoying taking pictures for it.
