Cheat Thingy not working

I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong section. I looked, but I couldn't find anything about this problem anywhere.

Anywho, I dunno if this is due to a download that I downloaded or something like that, but when I push Ctrl+Shift+C the cheat window thingy doesn't show up. This is mildly frustrating as I now can't make a hotel and I can't use any of the cheats that I know. *sighs*

Any help would be nice, even if it is just a point in the right direction. ^_^

I had that problem once, i don't know if it's the same for you, but in my case it was because another application on my computer used the same combination of keys.
So you can either try to find which one (for me it was a built in check up for updates) and modify the combination in the properties menu or try this : ctrl shift windows button and c all at the same time
