My sim just died ( :( ) so the Grim Reaper came along, did his reaping, then went in to the bathroom of my sims house and started mopping the floor! :wtf: and he was complaining that he didn't like the broken sink. and then one of my sims went up to him to 'get to know' him.
Has anyone else had any strange encounters with old Grimmy?

I think someone woohooed with him and had twin girls.

My sim managed to skill tutor a Grim Reaper once. But what skill to tutor Grim Reaper? He's carrying that sickle or scythe or whatever it's called and the thing must be a tool he's using, so I determined the useful skill to be handiness, and maybe he can chop chop! better next time. He went up one skill level in handiness but refused to accept more and disappeared into smoke.

My sims always run over to him and try to tutor him in a skill. Actually, they try to do that to anyone. O_o
Tawny.

The Grim Reaper came today to get Fiona McIrish (who was visiting the Sim I was playing) and when he was done with his soul-reaping business, he went over to the mirror and started to Gussy Up! SO WEIRD.

He's still in the Relationships panel though, he's an acquaintance, but I'm unable to interact with him. Shame that!

I sat at a picnic table with the grim reaper once... we ate sandwiches and discussed something. I was so shocked, surprised, and frightened that I didn't see what they talked about. Imagine that conversation...
"So... uhhh, you just took his soul..."
Quiet pause, "Yes... these burgers are just fantastic!"

Not yet, at least in The Sims 3 anyway. In The Sims 2 I did. He would use the toilet or sit on the couch and watch television.

Oh. And I've also found out that one of the Grim Reapers traits is 'mean-spirited'. Is anyone surprised?

In my game one of Grim Reaper's traits was "Childish".

Death came for my sim three times but found her "sad state of living" amusing so he let her live. O.o

That happened to the stupid son of this random family that decided to move into the empty Goth manor. I was quite angry that killing him wouldn't work... then I just got rid of that darned unlucky trait with "testingcheatsenabled true" and killed him anyway. His mother was pregnant and wouldn't die for me either. Her hunger meter would not plummet all the way until she gave birth. He hasn't done anything else all that interesting though.
