disappearing vanity tables

I was just wondering if anyone had this issue and ever resolved it.
I have sims 2 seasons, and there is a vanity table available in the game for
purchase, but If I download any vanity table it shows in the buy mode but instantly disappears on live mode. Ive tried a Sim PE GUID scan, but Sim PE
always stalls. any suggestions appreciated.

Some objects are indeed just screwed up. SimLogical, I think, or Simbiology, has a Stuck Objects Remover for this exact purpose. You put it on the offending area and it gets rid of whatever is left of the previous objects. I've had to use it on a couple of desks from Seasons, I think.
