Higher stages?

Is it possible to build stages higher than 4 clicks? Does someone know a trick or something?

I just want to build a 1x1 section of 8 click high stage to build modular stairs for a small cabin! :cry:

Or is there something else besides a stage you can trick in order to get an 8 click high landing for stairs?

MikeInside's tutorial doesn't work because I want to make the stairs directly beside 2nd level floor tiles... and I'm building it at the edge but not right the corner of the house.

Sorry. There is no way to adjust the height of the stages. The only way to make an 8-click landing is with the CFE cheat. Seems like there are some stairs that give the illusion of a midpoint landing -- sorry don't remember whose.

Marvine's (http://modthesims.info/member.php?u=52935) ladders and spiral stairs are excellent choices for small houses. They have a smaller footprint, are fully animated and look really nice. A ladder would be a natural choice for a very small, rustic cabin.

Targa has also made ladders (available here on mts). His are not animated, Marvine's are.
