View Full Version : do you use a cooling pad for your laptop??

i just brought a laptop last week and i brought a logitech USB cooling pad today i have not tested it playing sims3 but it cools my laptop down nice

I don't have a cooling pad but my laptop used to overheat so I don't use it on the bed or soft surfaces anymore. I have this wooden board that you can place on your lap, chair or bed and plastic pegs underneath the laptop to keep it elevated.

I also have a fan pointing toward it and it hasn't been overheating *knock on wood* in a long time. Even when I play the Sims 3 it seems to be doing great.

And make sure you keep the vents dust free.

with the cooling pad attached the temp is 36C not bad!!!

Wow, not bad at all. I was actually thinking of getting one but never got around it. Something like the one you linked to might be good.
