View Full Version : why dont my urns/graves stay on a lot

ok my sim was visiting her fathers house and he died while she was visiting also an uncle that lived on the lot also died during her visit. why didnt the urn stay on that lot? it disappeared. i was hoping it would stay there so the home would be haunted.

The graves may be in the Masoleum. You can 'Manage the Dead' and take the graves back to the lot they originally lived...

they arent at the mosoleum but thanks for answering. i guess they are gone. i even went to that household and checked everyones inventory. not there either. guess the graves are lost.

Sims living on other lots frequently do not leave urnstones at all when they die, instead simply dissolving into the ether forever.

They're lost. my main sim family is up to generation 7 and I don't have one tombstone or urn. Bugs the hell out of me

If you don't mind using a mod, you could use the "Town \ Bury the Dead" interaction in SuperComputer to recover all those urnstones.

wow really? I didn't know the Super Computer had that option. I actually installed that mod last week but haven't had a chance to play the game with it yet. Thanks for that info twallan

Yesterday I accidentally found a couple of lost urns in the family inventory, in one of the families. I have no idea how they ended up there.
