Custom Content Won't Install

I have tried for ages to install CC (about 3 months) and it isn't working :cry: I finnaly figured it out by downloading a couple hairs, one at a time, and it worked but then i found a whole bunch of stuff i wanted and now it wont work :cry: Please help me :help:

I have read all that stuff before and i just read it again, I tried again and everything is working except for stuff created by kiara24.

If everything works except content by one particular creator, that sounds like it's a problem with that content and not with the game. We only do support for the game here – for issues with particular custom content please post where you downloaded it from. It's up to the creator to support their own content.

I'm having proplems with installing mods too, all stuff for create a sim except for stuff created by kiara24 can install with my louncher, i asked her and she has tried to help my but nothing will work. Only stuff my launcher likes will get in my game.:(

Wait. Did you read the part about installing package files? None of our files on site uses the launcher.

Yes, the ism 2 stuff works fine, it just appears in my game but sims 3, some stuff works with my louncher but all the rest it hates and says "please make shure your game has the leteset updates and try again" When i put it in C:Program Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Mods/Packages it wont show up in my game. It doesn't show up in my game when i put it in C:My Documents/Electroni Arts/The Sims 3/Mods/Packages So stuff that works with my louncher is the only stuff I can get wich sucks becuse kiara24 is my favorite creator and all of her stuff wont work.

Again: if it's only the content by one particular creator that doesn't work, please ask that creator for support. We only do game help here.

She asked me for help but I do not know what to do because all my cc's is in my game and it works perfectly and I know some people who have downloaded my stuff did not have problems, maybe is some incompatibility with something....

403880, to put it bluntly, if you can't get any .package files to work in your game, then you are doing it wrong. Talking about the launcher is a red herring: the launcher installs Sims3Packs, not .package files.

Everything you need to know about installing .package files in The Sims 3 is in the link Canoodle provided in post #2. Are you sure you've read that?
* Have you downloaded and installed the Resource.cfg file in Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3?
* Are you extracting the content from the .zip or .rar and placing only .package files in Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages?

Oh, i'll try getting rid of the .zip/.rar files.

It works now. But my game doesn't work at all. I had it installed, I played with it but one day my game just stoped working.I have re-Installed it twice and it just doesn't want to work.
