Pets - Not Working

Hello Fellow Simmers <3
I'm having trouble with my Sims 2 Pets.
I've installed everything. But it doesn't
seem to be working.
:alarm: Here's The Problem:
Ok, So I'm at my desktop and I click the icon. A white box comes up, it doesn't say anything on it. But it has a red X on it. I really want to get back into Pets. :!: I HAVEN'T TRIED REINSTALLING IT. :!:
So, Basically nothing is working... I can play the original sims... I can use the Sims 2 body shop... Everything, But I can't play pets.
I hope someone can help me.

This is usually caused by corrupted cache files, which is one of the things you were given instructions on fixing before you posted. :)

I'll try removing the temporary files. I never thought of that!
