Black screen on Sims 3 launcher custom content installer

I installed some official custom content onto my launcher, and now for the game install of this content, when the window that should have a Sims 3 logo in it opens, instead I get a black window of the same size. The window is considered "not responding" whereas the launcher is fine. I am using Windows 7, and an official copy of all three games, Sims 3 and High-End Loft being digital downloads and World Adventures being physical copy. Any help with the black screen? I can't install official custom content. :help:

Mine does that IF I have any other program running be it my browser, email, solitare, anything except the launcher and EADM. I have no Idea why but, I just make sure i exit anything else, including my browser before I install sims3 files.

I don't have this problem anymore, after the most recent update was released...
