Sim City Games?

I'm thinking about getting one of the Sim City games. Which one would you recommend?

Sim City 4. Hands down. Unfortunately, nothing else has bested it yet.

Edit Just avoid Simcity Societies. It's terrible.

Another vote for Sim City 4 - The only caveat is that unless you've played a Sim City game before it is the steepest learning curve of the series. But stick with it!

Yup Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition! Simcity Societies may have better graphics but it has ALOT of the fun stuff missing that you can do in Simcity4!

Societies is just a pretty ordinary game all round.
