I Cant Install my Sims2 game

okay i had unistall my sims cause it had a glitch but when i retried to install it, it always stopped at a certain number and something would pop up saying that it's unable to install the neighborhood file and i kept retrying to install it but it doenst work i ried wipeing it but its still not working what can i do? please help me :cry:

okay firsted i tried wipeing it like they said and then tried to install it again but it said the same thing again like it said it cannot install the neighborhood file into my computer and when i pressed retry it said the same thing so i just canceled it so should i buy a new disk?

umm okai then they told me to wet it a little and more stuff i did and the same thing happened but the problem is that i do not know how to do the other stuff they say to do cause to be honest im only 12 and i dont know that much about computer so please help me out
