View Full Version : SOLVED: Making an object recolorable

It must be too late at night but I cannot find a tutorial on this and I'm sure one must exist. I'm struggling to get an object to be recolourable. I thought I knew how
add MMAT for each subset
link correctly by name to the TXMT and CRES
make sure GUID is correct
generate hash for family field different in each MMAT
Fix integrity and off you go.
I must be forgetting something?
Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

You also have to add "tsDesignModeEnabled" to the GMND- if it's not there already. (Which it probably isn't if the object isn't recolorable.) Since I don't have the greatest memory when it comes to listing all the steps- do you know how to do that? If not, I'll be back. :)

The tutorial by Ignorant Bliss is probably what you want. :)

That's what I thought, HL. But on second read, I couldn't tell if Mog was adding a subset and making it recolorable or just wanting to make an object recolorable that isn't already. Either way, she should be covered now?

Either way that tutorial lays out all areas that need to be addressed for a recolorable object. =)

Thanks you guys - that was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Don't know why I couldn't find it last night - must have been too tired! You rock, my manuscript is now recolourable. Cheers!
