View Full Version : Lost car and parking spot under ground

It seemed so simple... just use constrainfloorelevation false and raise the ground under the house so that it is now on a hill. Unfortunately, I forgot entirely about the parking spot and the car in the garage. They have been swallowed up by the raised ground, and by now lowering the ground back down to delete them would be such a bother at this point. Is there a way to get to them another way?

Can I open the lot in S3PE and delete the car and parking spot? How will I know which items they are?

Nevermind. It bothered me so much to leave that car and parking spot that I broke and spent over 2 hours lowering land to delete the objects and redid all of the constrainfloorelevation false areas. But now that I know that it is possible to sink objects into the ground that way gives me more material to think about for future lots, for example: What if I sank a fountain, or a statue to get rid of the base?

I sink fountains into pools sometimes, I'm sure you could do it underground with cfe.

Did you test to see if the car spot worked underground? If it did then that would mean we could have them invisible without a mod

Hey Flutereyes,

I have a 12 car underground parking space on my "Rose Red"
lot and they all work without cheats or mods to the lot.
They are parked in the basement and there is a fake "elevator"
(two metal poles under a metallic floor) to get them up.
My sim just walkes to the front of the manor and activates the car.
they all just materialize as they would if you had them in the front lawn.

Isn't Shoosh Malooka's adventures in burying a sort of case of geoblending in reverse ? :)

Twallan's DebugEnabler has a "purge" command that removes objects within a certain radius. Wonder if that would have solved your problem :)
