So here is a challenge that I thought of that I thought I'd share. You're a YA sim who has woken up on the biggest empty lot in town with no memory of what's happened to you before. Incidentally, you also have no money whatsoever. All the workplaces you go to are refusing to accept you and the city hall won't allow you to register as self-employed, no matter how high your skill levels are. What's wrong with these people?
Never fear, though, your kind neighbours are here to help. You must build yourself a life through their generosity. Befriend them enough that they'll let you inside their homes and sleep over and use their fridges, etc. You'll have to be good at socializing. It sounds pretty normal, done-before and all that, but there's a bit of a twist.
Out of nowhere, the adoption service has arrived with a child-age kid. And another one. And another one. Three of them. You've got to cater for them as well as yourself. There'll be many passing out moments, peeing self moments and stealing food from somebody else's picnic blanket in the park moments, but you'll get there in the end. The challenge is over when you have a house worth at least 14,000 simoleans - OR when the child-age adopted kids reach YA, OR when your first sim dies (obvs really).
RULES ARE:
-You are not allowed to use the showers, baths or fridges in the gym.
-You are not allowed to use any skill-building equipment on a community lot (you ARE allowed to use your friendly neighbours')
-You can't get a job or register as self-employed.
-The friendly neighbours must NOT be your creations/living in houses you created.
-You must not switch to the households of the friendly neighbours.
-Marrying/engagement/ is not allowed.
-Neither is moving in with a Friendly Neighbour or inviting them to move in with you.
-You are not allowed to accept any opportunites you receive.
NOTE: You are allowed to sell items you have made like paintings or books or pottery and so on.
NOTE: It's obvious, but don't try and think the adoption man/woman will invite you in to their home.
