Same sex couples' babies

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows of a mod similar to the Inteen for the Sims 3, so same sex couples could have biological children?

Twallans Woohooer allows you to set it up so you can have same sex pregnancy. You can get it here http://ts3.tscexchange.com/index.php?topic=4695.0 . You will have to look here on MTS for default replacement pregnancy morphs for male clothing (under TS3/Downloads/Create a Sim so that your male Sims do not get floating head syndrome when they get pregnant.

Floating Head Syndrome occurs because TS3 does not have male pregnancy like TS2 did with alien mpreg- that means that unlike in TS2 TS3 does not have EA manternity clothing as part of the game- so if you don't go download default male pregnancy morphs for your pregnant male Sims their bodies will disappear and they will only have a head and feet with nothing in between until the baby is born.

I can't seem to get that mod to work. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, either...

Hi cindolin,

you have to install Twallan's file in your mods directory. When ingame you have the option with your same sex sims under "romantic": "try for baby", "woohoo" etc. You have to look yourself ingame for these options because I don't play in english, so maybe the names are different. :blink:

You have to click on the Sim /NRAAS/Woohooer that will bring up the options menu. Same Sex pregnancy is under the Try for Baby sub menu.

I installed Nraas Story Progression and it does same sex pregnancy I think. Click on the computer in your sims house, then 'Nraas', then 'Story Progression', then 'General Options', then 'Pregnancy'.

You should see an option for male pregnancy or same-sex pregnancy. The sim that initiates the woohoo is not supposed to become pregnant, the other sim is.

This brings up an interesting thought, what if one (same sex) sim initiated woohoo, then while still relaxing in bed the other sim initiated woohoo. They could BOTH become PG.

Hmm that sucks. There's a few things to double check.

Make sure you don't have other "core mods" installed. There can be only 1 in the mods folder. Awesomemod, Nraas Mastercontroller, some other hacks are "core mods" and won't function if they are installed together.

Check that you're installing your mods to something like "\My Documents\Electronic Arts\ Sims 3\ Mods\ Packages" and not the other Program Files Sims 3 folder.

See if you're installing the most up-to-date number for your game version.

If those don't work it could just be a bug in the game install I guess.

Yes, this happened to mine
