Frogs just wanna have fun..& make little frogs. In this challenge you will start with a couple of Sims that have been adjusted to reflect maximum fogitude;keeping their activities as frog-like as possible, you will be managing their big family. In my world, frogs are fat, lazy, sloppy, and happy; keeping them happy is actually NOT the hardest part!
Two (SAFE!) mods are required: “Larger Households” at MTS, and “lotFullOfPets” by Rufio.
GOAL/Scoring: I hate numbers. How about bragging rights? I brag that at game-end I had 13 babies (all potty trained) with total of 45 skill points. Had over 18 kittens. Nobody went nuts. My SPECIAL twins made friends with their real dad. WISH I could brag that I had enough beds for everyone, or that with 6 cats and ONLY 1 teen able to work I had more than $1448.
END: when mom is too old to have more froggies. Or if a pet runs away, or if kid or pets get taken away, or anyone goes nuts (totally red aspiration).
Build a lot with a pond & large tree right in front of the mail box.
Build a family: Create a pair of cats & a man & wife: one must be Family aspiration, the other Leisure. In the neighborhood screen do“boolprop testingcheatsenabled true”. When you put them on the lot, before they can do anything, you will be adjusting them: make the Pleasure sim a total slob (zero bars).Give the Family one not more than 2 neat bars. Make BOTH of them totally lazy and at least 8 playful. Give them all the cooking skills you want, but nothing else. Adjust their INTERESTS to frogitude: as, zero interest in work & total interest in toys, etc.
NOTE: don’t change the pond/tree, or the original exterior walls of the house. Don’t move the trash can. No maids or repairman. No $ or mood cheats or objects. Never TELL them (this means ANY frog) to clean unless they have 6 neat bars. No homework help or “read to”.
2nd aspiration can’t be $ or knowledge; aspiration perks like “need less sleep” can only be given if they have 5 active bars. Don’t buy a computer or fire alarm. DO buy a radio & TV. Nobody studies except employed teens.
BABIES: all births must be AT LEAST twins. All kids must be fathered by MrFrog, in the usual way; EXCEPT you can have one set of SPECIAL twins fathered by another man. You can make him, with any traits, and create pregnancy by a cheat, but he may not move in.{the reason for this is it PROBABLY will give you a child that can start changing that nasty litter box, and a teen that can repair, & help with toddlers). No changing table, no more than 1 potty chair & 2 cribs (hint: toddlers sleep best in cribs -or custom beds they can get to themselves; babies can be dropped on the floor.They each need to be in a seperate room where there is no TV or radio). Can only teach potty & nursery rhyme.
CATS: Original pair must remain in house. Only males can work, no training for advancement.Elders must retire. Provide 1 scratching tree-house, 1 litter box, 1 cat-house, all the food dishes you want –nothing else! Frog beds must be pet-acceptable. Frogs never SCOLD! You will want to use “control pets”.
Money: Will only come from cat jobs & selling them, or "special" teens working. Cats can be sold (brag if you figure out how to re-sale the same pet!). Never pay bills. Never sell anything you bought (that steaming splashing toilet will look lovely in the yard),or gifts, fish, dug up, or crafted items. And don’t USE gifts!(Except a working teen can use a computer). Lemonaid stand is OK IF someone wanted it, but when that wish is fulfilled, don’t make them work the stand just to make money (work?ewwww).
Besides cats, the only ones that can work are teens IF they have 7 (or more) neat bars, and not more than 3 playful, AND if you gave them aspirations of Money or Knowledge.(and when the more typical frogs aged to teens, give them an aspiration fitting with their personality that will keep them happy). Working teens are the only ones that can go to a community or hobby lot, but they can take ANY other teen if they are friends (sib, date,etc). They can buy groceries & earn money there.
TIP: Personality and those adjusted "interests" does make a differance in how they interact with other families. Try to make lots of friends; besides influencing them to clean and repair, some of them will (all by themselves) garden, spray roaches, etc.
This sometimes is about YOU being able to stand the mess, and sometimes about micro-managing as you try to keep every toddler & pet busy & out of the cat-house so you can “try for a kitten”. Ho Ha more fun than Toddler or Asylum challenges! Well, I hope to hear that you think this is a fun one..but would appreciate all feed-back :p
