I always write on the spot, but I have a mental outline of what I want to happen, based on the roll, sim's personality, and my own inspiration.
Ditto... except I'm only finishing up Chapter Twelve as we speak, so I haven't encountered any issues with writer's block as of yet. But knowing me, I most likely will at some point (and probably soon) and do a hulk smash on my keyboard a few times before I come up with anything remotely interesting.
I wish I had the patience to sit down and plan out my legacy, but most times I get my ideas from actually playing (especially since what I have in my head is often far too ambitious for my amateur picture taking abilities and bork-o-rama computer).

I had a bit of a block while planning out Chale's generation (or at least the first half), but as soon as I saw teen Faith I knew what had to be done. I just hope you guys like it too. >_>
Ebec: Originally I was planning for Alejandro to skip town after his birthday, but maybe I'll keep him and Simone around. I really do wanna see what their kids look like after all.
Buckley: Man if you're only on ch. 56 you've got a looong way to go before you meet my two boys. xD Alejandro is born in ch. 77 and Chale in ch. 79.

I am just wondering, how far ahead do you all plan your legacy stories? My heir just turned teen, and I had to quit my game because I have no idea what I want to happen next. It's not really writer's block, as I don't have a problem writing the story. I just don't know where I want the story to go. Anyway, I'm thinking that if I wasn't so scatterbrained I would have written an outline like some of y'all did. And then I wouldn't be having this problem, lol.
I've got an overall idea of where things are going, and some details are decided but most of it I just go with how things feel when I'm playing

I have to choose between THESE two for my heirs. I know I have a story planned for Chale, and I know I can't see Alejandro as a cop... but I just can't bear to have Alejandro disappear into the obscurity that is the life of a YA spare!
I feel my heart breaking. < / 3
They are both very cute, but since you've got a story planned for Chale then I'd go with the suggestions that you just keep Alejandro in the picture once he's moved out, maybe even set up some conflicted family dynamics between the two?

Colleen, I don't plan very far ahead at all. Sometimes I'll know what I'm going to do for the next generation as soon as I roll it (and I only roll one gen at a time, when the current gen is pregnant with the first), and sometimes I don't know what I'm going to ahead of time at all, and just play and see what happens and what ideas comes from interacting with the neighborhood.
I never planned for Demond, for instance. When teen Sheridan was approaching his birthday, I decided he would be recruited by whoever was the highest ranking Sim in the crime/thief career. And that was Demond, a neat, vegetarian vampire who happened to have been married to a cop.
Welcome back, Anarathiel! I hope you had a great time. I did enjoy your updates while you were away.

First two generations rolls are as follows:
Generation 1:
Single
Number of children: 1
Primary Income: Culinary
Generation Goal: Deadbeat Parents
Misc Fun: Joker
Generation 2:
Couple
Number of children: 2
Primary Income: Farmer
Secondary Income: Day Care
Generation Goal: Hobby, or Obsession
More Fun: No Strangers
Just need to think up a story to start the new game off with

It's certainly got the potential to be interesting, although it'll be hard not doing anything for the toddler - I usually read them all the books and get them to do the peg box & xylophone in addition to teaching them to walk, talk & use the potty.
I'm pondering the idea of having my generation 1 sim be insane & have that as the basis for why he/she isn't doing anything for the poor kid.
Quick question though - the rules say it's the opposite to perfect children but only specifically mention the toddler stage - what about then child & teen stages? Is my child/teen allowed to do his/her homework etc?
Redhead Creations
15th Aug 2011, 01:42 AM
I'm not sure how the official rules go, but the way I would play it is that anything the kid does autonomously is alright, but I wouldn't manually have the kid do anything like that. In fact if/when I roll that, I'm going to treat the kids with a "hands off" approach and not manually make them do ANYTHING and have them fend for themselves needs wise, even. Yeah, I can't wait! Hahaha

What an evil laugh, Red. I love it, lol. :)
The way I read the deadbeat parent rule is that the kids really aren't supposed to do homework. You aren't allowed to have the opportunity to choose any of their traits (with the exception of pregnancy as that is "a bit random and out of your control"), so if they do all their homework (autonomously or not) and go to school in a good mood, they will work their way up to an A, thus allowing you to choose their traits. However, if you want them to do homework, you could always sabotage school in other ways, like going in a horrible mood, etc.
I think the main point is just not to let them reach that A, so you won't have the opportunity to choose traits. But that is just the way I interpreted the rules. Play it how you want, Ali. (And, btw, I can't wait to read your new legacy. Too bad about your game save. I really quite liked your story.)

I agree with you Buckley, I'm pretty sure there was a discussion like 50 pages ago where a member was annoyed that they kept on having to cancel their sim's autonomous homework, so I believe it's not supposed to be done.
EDIT: For clarification purposes, the member had the deadbeat roll XD You don't have to cancel autonomous homework otherwise, unless there's another rule I can't think about that requires that
NutsAndDolts
15th Aug 2011, 03:12 AM
The rule is phrased like, you can't be allowed to choose their traits. If they do well in school, you will get the option to choose their next traits.
I hate deadbeat parents. It's like random traits, except difficult.

The more I think about it, the more I want to officially "switch to gen six" after this chapter. But theres no real way to announce it since this isn't a diary style story. Do we have any rules for switching generations? I know someone (Nuts, I believe) mentioned that the YA birthday was just a convenient spot, but are there any actual rules about this?

I hope not... not that it would necessarily change what I have already been doing.
I technically started my Generation shift once Olive hit her teenage years, since I felt that is where a lot of her character development began (plus, I'm kind of getting bored with Generation Uno... sorry Mya and Robert, time to move on!).

15th Aug 2011, 01:01 PM
The rule for Generation switch at YA has to do with any ongoing goals you have. So, if you have a goal/Misc fun that you have to do every week, or every day, you have to do it until the heir of the next generation reaches YA (you are of course free to continue doing it until the previous generation dies, but it is not required).
Other than that, it's a very fluid challenge, you can be starting to work on the next gen's goals while still working on the current generation, and you can continue working on the previous generation's goal after the next takes over.

I just checked in my game, and in my bin Foster & Carey have 18,500 to move in with. Some of the premade couples have 20k. That includes the Glover family, which are two non-romantic roommates, so being married isn't what's giving some of them the extra money. I'm guessing EA gave more money to their library premades for whatever reason, but if you create two YA/As in CAS you get 18.5 to start.

To make Barnacle Bay playable, I followed Calisims' example and used the Late Night City Hall, which meant I could bulldoze the military base and police station. I plopped Plumbob Pictures backlot onto where the Military Base was I think, and turned the police station into a little playground. I threw out the salon since it just loads my game with salon working NPCs, and I refuse to play a stylist again because of the glitches, and I can use MC for tattoos. I also deleted the fire station because I experienced so many bugs with Ashby, I don't feel like doing that crap again either. Though she never got all the emergencies I wanted. ;.;
I added premade houses onto empty lots on the windy roads outside of "downtown", so people would have places to live. I went in and edited many existing houses so they'd have cribs and extra beds. I think I bulldozed a house on the "main street" so I could build a Fusion Lounge there, and later I added Crypt Club (downloadable from MTS here) closeby. I re-did the Wanderer's Watering Hole so it would actually function as a Local Watering Hole.
And yes, I added spawners. because Barnacle Bay appeared to only have two. I mostly added bugs to very wooded parks and metal and gem spawners at the beach, where they might wash up or something. Later I went and deleted some, though, since I found Barnacle Bay has more spawners than I thought. If you rolled collector and didn't add any spawners, though, your collector will not make any money in Barnacle Bay compared to Riverview or Sunset Valley.
Several of Barnacle Bay's residents are already old when you start the game. I immediately used MC to give them babies, to continue their bloodlines.

Yeah, I'm looking at an Ikea one, I just want one that isn't monstrous huge, somewhat cheap (it's a birthday gift though so I don't have to go for the cheapest, yay!), one that has a good amount of shelves, and some surface space. Yeah, I'm picky, but I do got a month and a half to look!
In game desks kind of suck too, there are only a few really good ones :P

Emma, we also have the pleasure of being in on a lot of the beginning of the stories. I think with the exception of Melissa, I didn't have do do a whole lot of "catching up", which I could imagine would look daunting when attempting to read all our 12 or so blogs! I'm just happy when I can see that someone has read a chapter, haha. It makes it feel worth all that work!

My game is running a bit smoother now, but I have no idea why. I did kill off some people, Emma, and I deleted some extra crap clogging up my game. The crashing still bothers me though, as I don't know what's causing it. But, I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't make the game unplayable.

These are the last four chapters of the legacy, still in generation 2.
1 (http://anisdwelling.blogspot.com/2011/06/binder-round-6_26.html) , 2 (http://anisdwelling.blogspot.com/2011/07/jones-brown-round-6.html), 3 (http://anisdwelling.blogspot.com/2011/08/binder-round-7.html), 4 (http://anisdwelling.blogspot.com/2011/08/jones-brown-round-7.html).
It's a bit odd having a legacy where the starter and the heir don't even know each other. But Jenny moved out of the legacy house before Demeter was born, that's why they have no relationship (I don't think they have ever even spoken).
Thankfully there is no greater power making sure the rules are followed or I get punished because Tobias for example, is not doing any of the things he's suppose to do. He's suppose to be a teacher and throw parties every week, but he just hoboes around and fishes. I hope I can keep Demeter's rules followed up more strictly.

Serenity was almost fired from her job as a teacher. xD She only ever got to lvl 8 cause she kept rolling a wish to quit her job or no go, so I had her call in sick almost every other day or just not go. Plus the line up for the school was just insane, so half the time she wouldn't even get into the school anyway. So... *Shrug*

I'm pretty sure that's how it works. I believe that almost all items from SP's are basically clones of basegame items, so it'll just replace the SP object with the basegame object it was cloned from. That's how I ended up with a lot full of mounted fish once, because I was missing something that the creator had used. It was quite funny, but somewhat annoying having to go through and remove them all. =)

I've had that happen before too. It always makes me laugh. Since my settings on low rendering, stuff usually takes forever to show up in-game. I think I am losing my sanity. I have had to replay this one scene over, and over, and over again. My game keeps crashing whenever I try to save, and I have no idea what is going on. And my loading times are taking FOREVER! It takes my computer less than 5 minutes to load up a new copy of Sunset Valley or Twinbrook, but when I try to play my legacy, it takes like at least four times as long.
*Sigh* I think I am going to go ahead and move my generation 3 heir to Barnacle Bay. I thought up a story for her move, if I can get my game to stop crashing long enough to take some pictures. I actually only need 1 more day (in Sim time) to get to a logical point for her to move, but I'm not looking forward to doing this to my family.
I am considering playing generation 3 as if it was generation 1. For story purposes, my heir's parents (generation 2) won't be coming with her, so it kind of makes logical sense that she would start out with very little/no money. Also, I don't know if I can claim that she's generation 3 because my generation 2 is not going to have time to complete their goals. Frustrated doesn't even come close to describing how I'm feeling.
Hmm... On second thought, maybe I should play her as a legitimate generation 1. Use the story and pictures from Riverbossom Hills as her back story, and then start a new legacy with her as the founder. That would suck though, because I got all the way to chapter 15. Hmm... Decisions, decisions.

I'm the opposite, I make sure my family tree is accurate to where I am in the legacy :P
I have a really good memory for stuff like that, so I don't need notes and stuff. I won't be posting pictures of other sims besides the family, spouses, and child. No aunts, uncles, mother-in-laws, etc unless they're part of the Marlin family, though I'll put all names in :)
I swear I posted this, but it doesn't seem to have posted...luckily I had it copied, just in case XD
I find typos all the time in my work, I tend to edit my chapters for about 10 minutes after I post a chapter :P I write very slowly too, making sure I reread what I write. But sometimes you just need to reread it in blog/printed (depending on what piece of work it is) to make sure it's "perfect".

You should be proud to know 3 languages, I've been trying to learn French (My town is very bilingual and close to many French speaking towns) since I've moved to Ontario in Gr. 3, and I just can't get it. I don't know if it's because my English is stronger then the typical person and so to balance that out, I struggle to remember anything French or whether I can't practice any French at all because my family is completely English except my sister in law, who's bilingual but isn't a great teacher. Anyway, for all my rambling, I'm saying that being trilingual is awesome, and I'm quite jealous :)
And I completely agree that your English is awesome, I would have never guessed that English isn't your first language. English is supposed to be a b**** to learn, though I think French is pretty awful too :P

Aaaw. Thanks guys. I'm happy to know my english is passable enough to fool people online xD.
I was born in South America, so I grew up speaking Spanish, and then moved to Canada and took french emersion instead of english school because my mom already spoke french. Then I finally started learning english when we moved most recently. It really was a b**** to learn. I found French easier because its so similar to Spanish, but that said I'll sometimes randomly slip into spanish when I speak french, or french when I'm supposed to be speaking spanish.
Is it sad that I only just learned this year that those things you put on the end of ponytails are called "Hair bands/ties"?
... This is all just making me want to write a foreign sim into the story even more. Maybe for gen 8...

@Redhead: I've got you beat. I took Spanish all four years of HS and then two years in College... and I *still* couldn't grasp it. The real kicker is, I live in a portion of the US that has a large Spanish-speaking population and I would often practice with them and they would commend me on being so good with the language after only taking it for a few years, but I was definitely at the six year mark at that point. I just went along with it. :poker face:

Precisely $68.49. Gadzooks that's a lot of money! Well... since I'm taking all online classes this semester, I guess I sort of have to invest in a new charger. Poo.
My dad used to tell us we'd get electrocuted if we played the computer in an electrical storm... Scare tactic so if we had a power surge we wouldn't fry the computer...
Haha... good tactic though! I was lucky my computer wasn't fully hooked up (I had unplugged the charger from the computer about two minutes before the lightening strike) so the only thing that was damaged was the charger since I was far too lazy to unplug it from the socket. 'doh!
On a side note: Olive just had this hilarious glitch where she was floating above everyone else, but was still interacting with them. Whenever a sim went to hug her, they would hug her foot. 0_0 I wish I had taken a picture of it.

Don't worry Teal, while my French is probably better then somebody who doesn't speak French at all, I'm horrible compared to almost anybody in my town. I can count all the way to about 50 before I start forgetting some of the numbers (though I'm sure a refresher would make that easier, it's the first 16 that are the hardest), I know enough that I can say I don't speak french well (Je ne parle pas Francais bein), though even in that simple sentence I wonder if my grammar is correct. I know a lot of individual words, but it's hard for me to add them up. I think I would be better if I could connect what's in my head to what I say, because my writing French is soooo much better then my oral French and I can't even try to listen to somebody speaking in French. Even for people who aren't bilingual, most of them can do better then me. Admittedly, I did live in BC until gr. 3 (where you start learning French the year I moved away), then I started taking French with the rest of the class in gr 4 after some introductory French games. And I took it and fought with the stupid language until I finished with my mandatory gr. 9 French course, which is almost as many years as you Giga. If you count the numerous summer attempts at tutoring me, it would probably be more.
And the most I did learn was in gr. 9, I did have some horrible French teachers in elementary school.

I wiiish I had the next two chapters written out, but I'm stuck staring at my game (literally paused when the last picture was taken in ch. 14). I'm so excited about my story I can't play cause I can't decide what to do first!

Write down your ideas then choose the one you like most and do them in that order. I had a sort of plot line going from halfway through ch 15. I really want to show you guys how it happens, but then it will be over way too soon and it will all be forgotten about in no time at all

I'm half way through ch. 92 xD. I might post double tomorrow because its a fun chapter. Sheridan's a good grandpa.
Is it sad that I'm already planning for my next legacy?

Not really, if you've planned this one out beforehand.
I might do a double post today actually. here is
chapter 16: Crystal finally becomes a YA

Ana, that's cute! Tell your brother that heck-yeah people read it!!!
Though, my stats page is all broken. I haven't been getting post stats since I put up my last chapter, so I can't tell if anyone is reading mine unless they leave a comment, heh.

I can't tell if people are reading it anyway, how do you do that. I can see whether somebody has commented obviously which is why i get paranoid if i don't get any comments.

Same thing is happening with my stats page, Redhead, so I'm guessing it's a bligger issue. It makes me sad... I like knowing what chapters are popular, and what chapters needed more advertising. By the way, thanks for Faith. Her genes are AWESOME.

Yeah, mine usually did that, but it's showing no views at all, I did some research and found that it's a known blogger bug. I hope it clears up though, because it's kind of sad to see that "No stats yet, check back later" message. =(

I take a lot of photos, but usually with a purpose. However, if the sim is being cute, I can usually incorporate a picture or two to show them off without derailing the plot :)

20th Aug 2011, 02:25 AM
Thats just it though! I rarely ever take photos that I don't think I'll need. xD I've actually missed two plot related photos (but I just caught them later during a re-do) because I was busy following Ximena around and cooing over her. Even my sisters have been watching me play because they love her.
Dangit. I'm going to have to change the plot, aren't I.

I take a lot of pictures only because I pause a lot anyway. Mainly because I get distracted easily, especially if I decide to play music or play solitare while playing sims 3. Don't ask how I multitask like that, it's insane!). Plus I don't always have a definitive plot (I mean, I recently decided that Irish had to be the heir or else I would be miserable the whole gen.), so I need alternative plots. Still, I miss stuff too, I kind of went into a "zone" for 3 sim days of the girls' childhood, so no pictures exist :P

I would say majority of it when the child is born, though if there are things you can't do (like rabbithole jobs) until YA, you'll just have to wait. That's what I did anyway, I cancelled Nathalie's newspaper subscriptions right away and the bus service was cancelled for the teens.

I'm the same way, hence not reading the reviews online. I did that for DA2 and spoiled almost everything about the game before I got it. I'm officially staying away from reviews for Deus Ex (although I already ruined it), Mass Effect 3, and Skyrim because all three games seem to have reviews solely based on giving away major plot details (*shakes fist wildly in exasperation*).
With that said, I'm now super curious about the DLC. I might read a review anyway just to satiate (sate?) it.

Okay, didn't someone just have an issue with missing screenshots? I'm currently freaking out trying to find about 40 that were taken yesterday but can't! I tried taking a new one and it saved it as screenshot-386 where the last one in the folder is screenshot-345. Obviously it thinks they are there but I can't find them by searching. Thanks for the advice about the Crypt Club, Nuts. And all the tips about Barnacle Bay. I've been working on it off and on today trying to make it more legacy friendly. I added a bunch more houses and clubs and stuff, and now there are only 3 empty lots left. And I haven't even built a starter house yet.
Ugh, I still don't want to abandon my legacy in Riverblossom. I love Riverblossom Hills, and I am sad to leave it. I've been trying to think of a clever way to just plop my current legacy family in a new RH, but it's not going to happen unless I completely start over. Which would suck. This is me pouting, by the way. So, off to Barnacle it is. Actually, I'm wondering about that new town, Hidden Springs or whatever it is called, but I don't know how much it's going to cost and if it is a stinker like BB was (pre-renovation) then I'm not even going to bother with it.

Colleen, Twallan has something called "The Porter", it let's you move multiple families from one neighborhood to another without them losing their relationships. That might be useful if you want to move into a duplicate RH. Then again, it might be useful for any neighborhood move. =)

I had a incredible *cough* idea about making families to do with Greek or Norse gods... Then I realised there's lots of confusing parts (and incest and weirdness) in the legends... I think it'll end up being more of 'these families are loosely based blah blah blah'. My imagination is a little too active I think...
Buckley
21st Aug 2011, 05:25 AM
Cece, with twallan's story progression you have the option to turn immigration on or off. Under the NRAAS main menu (I usually use city hall but whatever works for you) click on Story Progression/General Options/Lots/Immigration and set the immigration pressure value to something greater than 0. That will activate immigration in your town. If you don't want any immigration at all, keep the value at 0. But once you set the value to a positive number, a whole bunch of other options become available under the immigration tab, such as chance of bin offspring. If you want immigrants (and adoptions) to be the genetic offspring of the sims in your bin (instead of plain old EA vanilla sims), then make sure that percentage is high. I personally have my "chance of bin offspring" set to 100 and my "chance of random offspring" set to 0... because I don't want vanillas in my town. But that is just my preference, set your stats to suit your needs.
Anyway, I hope I didn't just confuse you more. Basically, if you want your immigrants and adopted children NOT to be vanilla, you need to have your immigration pressure value set to higher than 0. Once that value is set to your liking, just go in and adjust your "chance of bin offspring" and your "chance of random offspring".
Twallan's forums explain the immigration thing pretty well, if you just browse the story progression discussion. Also, he discusses immigration in his FAQ about story progression, found here: http://www.the-isz.com/nraas/index.php?showtopic=102
Actually that last choice does a better job explaining than I did, so be sure to check out that link, if you're still confused.
EDIT: Forgot my main reason for posting. Whoops! So, I have been doing some research and I am considering Anne Arbor as a place to move my family to. I don't think any of y'all use that town for your legacy, but I would be curious if anyone has experience with it or any of the My Sim Realty worlds.

I think thats a great idea, Teal. In the story series I'm writing most of the characters are related into one giant family... but I had to split it into four different families for Neverglade xD.
I sure hope you go along with your idea. I'd love to see the sims you come up with.
So far I have... eight families for Neverglade. Just have to add one or two more of my own character families before moving onto picking my favourites from each legacy. I just with ChloroformDreams was here. I wanted to ask her about uploading Clementine...

If you don't want to, I'll understand. I'm not planning on using any as main characters really since my gen one for my next legacy is a couple. I just want all these characters as genetic material because I am SO bored of everyone having nicer looking heirs then me.
EDIT: ... Already have a problem with my plan. Even with my planning I've already hit 12 families. And I've only used six legacies. I have nine active legacies on my list, but I think I might be missing a few.

Sure, I'd be happy to Cece... if I knew how, lol. Also, as Bea is being a (*spoiler*) cranky pregnant teenager right now I don't know if I can clone at the moment. But if you want them for genetic fodder (not sure if that is the right word, but whatever) I can upload them at some point in the future.
And you're welcome to Ethan, but seeing as he is just Melissa's Meadow and CDream's Alucard mixed together, his genes are not unique. (And hah, I won't be sad if you don't use my characters. I enjoy seeing everyone else's characters cameo in your legacy too much for me to want mine to take their place. :))

Buckley:
To clone you just go into stylist or CAS and pressing the little folder button (By the sim avatar I believe) click "Save to (I think it says bin)". Save something, anyway. And then it'll be in the EA folder where you put Meadow and Alucard. Either way I can wait for those two. I'll put them in whenever you have them. Not that I'll be starting this legacy for a month I'm guessing xD. I have a LOT of planning to do before that...

So I've been playing around with worlds and i found a nice one on the exchange, but it has no residents. I was going to fill it with characters from stories and literature (including some of my original stories). Would anyone object to me filling it with some of the characters from your legacies? / Does anyone WANT me to put their characters in?
I have no problem with it... that is if you actually *want* to download them.
That sounds really fun though. I hope you make a blog to keep us updated. ;)

Get to 10 chapters already!
I'll add an edit so Reya isn't confused.

Gretchen gives birth on the same day as Blossom's ballet recital, will the recital get messed up by the baby's birth?

Edit: I'm going to change this again later! I don't particularly want this pic but it will do for now
I wish i had my laptop with me so i could carry on playing, I really want to be able to advance, i nearly caught up with myself on that last chapter but i can't write any more at the moment because my pictures are all on my laptop

My new avatar is of my cat Granger :) He's named after Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter series, as both my sister and I are in love with the series. And yes, you see a bit of my hand there, he would not cooperate so I kind of had to nudge him into a good pose :P I suppose he didn't mind the ear scratching too much either :P
Good updates everyone!

Ouch Nuts. Any idea what the glitch might be?
Luckily Neverglade seems to be working great for me so far. I had to add some Ambitions buildings, but I took a page from Cali's book and decided against adding a salon. I won't have many sims as it is. xD
It's actually really fun filling an empty town! I get to make my own stories and everything for the characters. Still, it'll be a while before you guys get to see any of it. I'll just tease for now. <3

I love cats too, he's a big boy (23 pounds the last time I checked) but so lovable. But like any cat, he's moody as heck, wanting his way or the highway. Still, he's my big baby :D
Glitches suck Nuts, I hope you can fix them!
So are you making a new legacy/story for us to read about the Neverglades Cece? I can't wait to read it!

Well, the first time the power went out. So it wasn't the game's fault.
The second time it crashed when Donoph tried to go to his first job. =(

Aw, hopefully try it again, maybe try the backup file if it persists. Maybe the game just got cranky when it died the first time from the power outage? Not that computers have feelings...*hides from glaring computer screen* And if all else fails, kill Donoph :P Okay, so I just love seeing sims die, that doesn't make me evil! *crackles madly*

Hmmm.... maybe try the job on a different day? Or send him early if he used the carpool (Or carpool if he drove himself). Good luck, whatever the issues was.
@ebec: Yep! The Sabo Legacy is up after the Starr Legacy. I'll probably start posting when I'm in gen 9 or gen 10 of the Starr Legacy. I'm just starting early because I have LOT of work to do before starting game play...

When I want to kill someone, I go play Dragon Age. Or Mass Effect. Sims, not so much.
I hope you get your game sorted out, Becky. I had a nasty glitch recently where all the Sims disappeared from the relationship panel. When I reloaded, the UI was completely missing and I couldn't click on anything in game.
I had to go back to an earlier save, I lost about a Sim day. But at least it's working.

Sounds like we're all having fun. I've spent the whole day trying to pinpoint the source for my game freezing every time I go into the decor section of the buy mode. I haven't been able to add/change anything in the house for at least a month.
I've taken out all my CC and am slowly adding it in bit by bit, restarting the game, checking for the freeze, quitting, repeating. Ugh, I've been at it for at least 5 or 6 hours. Not fun!!!

I think I've solved the issue. Though I have no idea how, as all I did was take out all my CC and put it back in a bit at a time... I ended up putting *everything* back in, but the freezing didn't happen on the last load-up. So, I'm flabbergasted, but as long as the game runs, am happy! =)
Here is Cecil for Cece. hehehe As with everyone else's Sims, he's in basegame hair/clothing so not quite as fabulous as normal, but I trust you and anyone else who takes him to fix him back up. =)

Woop! Thanks Redhead. That makes ONE male teen xD. He probably won't be into guys in Neverglade... the other four teens are all girls.
