Upgrading items/objects

Hi, I am now here. So i have learned what mods do and when I have played The Sims 3 then there is one disturping thing:
when i upgrade an item then as inventing level goes higher and higher, then a lot more upgrades are availabe to one item.
For example i have upgraded shower to Self-Cleaning and finally never-brakes is availabe, but i dont want too see it, because i dont want to upgrade my shower anymore and i hate to soo so much tabs when i click on the shower.
I know it is possable, but how to to that upgrades are only in upgrade tab when i click on an item and when i click on upgrade then i can see all availabe item upgrades?

That would be a Create question... Assuming that you are looking for a single menu item that branches into a sub-menu rather than the current way where all options are there at once.

I'm not sure it's possible, though.
