So, I just saw "Voyage...". It was a nice little movie; HOWEVER, they might want to actually READ the book for the next film. If you want to tell your own story, then do so. Don't pretend it's another one.

Definitely with you there! Er... "Dark" Island? Magic swords? What, was finding the lost seven lords not exciting enough? Not to mention Edmund's more than slightly, um, questionable obsessive fantasising over the White Witch. She gave you Turkish Delight as a child, kid! Get over it!
Plus Caspian's Spanish accent seemed to have got lost along the way somewhere...

Also in agreeance... If one is going to make a completely different movie... give it a completely different name...

Eh... isn't this something common already? I've never seen a novel-based movie that does NOT put too much changes in the storyline.

I don't have time to find the article, but I recall seeing something that said they got permission to take "creative liberties" with the plot since the original story was deemed too episodic for film.

I haven't seen the movie and it's been so long since I've read the book. So I can't really say if I agree with the "episodic" description.
