I was wondering if anyone knew how long game time it took for vamps to show up in the older towns like Riverview once the vamp lounge has been placed? Is there any other criteria that has to be met?

Thanks for any info.

I've noticed it seems to take a few sim days...

Thank-you. Its been like a sim week in my game, that's why I'm wondering if there is anything else besides just dropping the Vampire Lounge in town.

I don't have a vampire lounge in my Sunset Valley. I have everything but, actually, but that's not the point. It took a day, and my whole town was all vampires except my active sim. Then I created some sims and killed a few vampires, and then the population of vampires was about the normal amount for Bridgeport.

Interesting. I use awesomemod. Do you think that could be interfering with something?

Its story progression will not make new vampires. You have to either turn off AwesomeMod story progression or manually make vampires using a mod like Twallan's Master Controller.

Thank-you. I had my suspicions.

You can also simply save one or two of the vamps from bridgeport to the folder and then just use edit town to place them in towns that do not have vamps in them. :)

Vampires are like a disease, like yellow fever or malaria or celebrity... It must first be introduced to the environment. After you introduced a few vampires (By using a cheat or relocating) story progression will take over and begin to randomly spawn vamps...

I don't have a Vampire Lounge in Riverview OR Sunset Valley and had vampires show up the first day. I do not use any mods, however.
