So, you know how you can drag paintings up and down using the shift key? Well, I'd like to know if there's a mod that enables you to do this to all furniture.
Thanks in advance!

No, there isn't. It's a flag which has to be changed in the OBJD of each object individually - can't be done as a global mod. It's very easy to change it yourself though, if there are certain things you want floaty?

Question: if I were to, say, have a bed or couch float, would the Sim animation still be compatible with it, or would the sim just stand there grumbling about how they couldn't sit on it or something? :o Because that would be cool, like how ghosts eff around with your furniture when they haunt your house, if we could make our furniture hover. :)

The sim will do the entry animation as if the bed/chair/whatever were at normal height, then will "snap" into the correct height once they're sitting/lying down.

This sound interesting :p
Is there a tutorials or post (preferable with pictures for people who can't read like me :giggler: ) on how to do this floaty thing ? :p
Thanks in advance :P

I'm not on my gaming machine, but it's pretty simple. Easiest with custom furniture of course, since to do this with EA stuff you have to either clone it or make a default replacement, which is slightly more involved. You can find all that in any object creation tutorial, though (it's simplest with S3OC rather than TSRW).
Assuming you're making CC floaty, or otherwise already have a package file to edit, open it in S3PE. Make sure "Names" and "Tags" are ticked at the bottom of the window, and find the resource with tag/type "OBJD". Select it, then click Grid in the bottom section of the window.
In the Grid window, find the line called "WallPlacementFlags" and expand it. I forget exactly what the line you want then is called, but it's something like "Shiftable" or "CanShift" - just change that to True, Save in Grid, then Save back in the main window.
Note that this doesn't work with windows and doors. :)

Well, actually, I was thinking of making a sim float using moveobjects....

A scary thing I did with moveobjects was to take a Sim out of the pool while she was swimming, and put her on a hill to see if she's swim down the hill or something or revert back to normal. Nope. :P Instead, she just hovered there and drowned to death. On a hill.
