I'm not a pro at making sim versions of real people, but I was possessed to have a go at making a Molly Ringwald sim. Point out whatever you think needs fixed. If the whole sim is just utter crap, tell me that too. If you know of any CC that would make her look more like the real thing, post a link! Try to be as specific as possible in your suggestions and we can work a lot more efficiently...

I've been messing about a bit - this is the updated Molly.
Edit: I realise that it doesn't look like much has changed...more views added.

I'm not experimented in Sims 2 faces but, from what i can see, the mouth, nose and eyes could be a bit less wide, the face more rounded also.
Would be great if you try and find some front neutral face of RLP pics and put, side by side with your sim for us to have a better vision of the details.
You did a very good job so far.

I've changed her a little and made a comparison pic (it's quite hard to find good pics of her in real life - if these really aren't good enough, I have The Breakfast Club, Pretty In Pink and Sixteen Candles on DVD to screencap, but I'd rather not have to...). Is it any better?
Oh, and thanks for posting! This place seems a lot quieter than it used to be!
Edit: I changed my Body Shop lighting, so that's why it's brighter.

Oh, you are welcome! :D
Much better! I think the upper lip could be less wide and less full a smidge (the Molly's lips are almost the same fullness).
Maybe it's me, but the face is a bit too long, don't you think?

Okay, I'll sort it out later. I'm off to play with some other simmies!

Hey (:
From the photos I have seen I think the face needs to be a little higher, the bridge of the nose slightly wider (not much though) and maybe cheeks should be a bit fuller with slightly higher cheekbones.

Woo! Another poster!
Here's Molly with the new adjustments. Do you think it's enough to do this all with structure? Should I use/make some face masks?

I think you shouldn't rely completely on face masks but they can make your simmies look more realistic.
Here's just a list out of things I've downloaded to help you find some stuff.
Nose masks from Sirona Sims (http://www.sironasims.com/40-multiwearable-nosemasks-for-creating-unique-and-beautiful-sims.html). There are 40 in the set so you should be able to find the shape you want.
AlfredAskew (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=318113) from here has some good options for lip shapes (Which I found for my Tim sim you're so graciously helping me on (: )
