How many Relic Collections have you found?

Amazingly, I haven't found a single complete collection and two of my Sims from the same household (legacy family, father and oldest son) were adventurers who went scouting for relics.

Is there a trick to this? Am I not exploring enough tombs?

Dig sites and only look for those that look more elaborate, especially the greenish ones. But first you would have to install Buzzler's Dig Site Fixer, otherwise no dice.

Another thing that can help you complete relic collections sooner, is for your sims to just have plenty of money. I'd recommend $10,000 x (# of days), though you could probably get away with $5,000 x (# of days) if you have LN and your sim has celebrity level 4 or 5 (discounts and all).

Then be sure to visit the relic shop every single sim day, and buy every piece of metal, and relic that's a part of a larger collection.

That will help you get otherwise harder to complete collections, like Gold Figurines and Drupal Stones. The Tomb specific relics, you can only get by exploring each tomb, or using buydebug/treasure chest/set treasure component method.
