Help: Can't quit or kick people out of band

So for some reason the ability of the four sims in my band to either quit or kick someone else out of the band has been taken away. When I click on the band bubble for each sim it only gives me the option to rename the band. Has anyone else had this problem, and is there any way to fix it? The sims in the band are all at level 10 in the band career track and have done roughly 20 gigs together. Thanks for the help!

First of all, are your sims friends? It might be that they have to be friends to have those interactions... probably not, but it's worth mentioning.

Also, have you tried looking for an interaction on the phone?

That's all I can think of, I don't usually make bands and the last time I did was a while ago. I hope I helped :)

Well, I don't have a solution, but I did want to let you know that I was having this issue in my game, too. 3 of my band members live together; was trying to kick 4th member out to replace him. I can't kick him out, and neither can any of my band members quit the band to form a new one. Sucks. I may try forming a band in a new neighborhood to see if that band has the same issue.

I know this is an old thread, but I never found anyone with a solution to the problem, so here's mine. My main sim was in a band, but with only one other person. I was unable to get others to join because the "form a band" option never showed. AND I couldn't quit either. So, I use NRaas's Master Controller to set her band skill level to -1, voila, she's no longer in a band, nor are the other members. I was then able to invite anyone I wanted including the original members.
