I bought the game a couple days after it came out, and have slowly been downloading mods that have been updated for the generations patch, and hadn't found any problems. After awhile I noticed my game was getting a little glitchy, but nothing too serious, until I had a toddler. I didn't like the hair it was born with so I went to "Change Appearance" and there was basically no hairstyles to choose from. I figured I downloaded a faulty mod, so I took out all the recent mods. Still no toddler hair. I eventually ended up taking out all the mods, all the custom content, and uninstalling/re-installing the game, and I still don't have any toddler hairstyle options. I didn't know about removing caches until today, so I removed the four main caches and unstalled/re-installed the game again, but toddler hair still isn't showing up. Does anyone know what I should do?

There isn't much there to begin with but you mean there's nothing there at all? Anyway, there is actually a help section for this type of question. Once you have gone through all the FAQ's, if the problem is still there, that would be a better place.

A screenshot of what you see when you go into the hair section would probably be helpful. :)

There are three original hairstyles still there, and whatever custom content I put in, but the rest are gone. All of the other original hairstyles from sims 3 and the other expansion packs hairstyles won't show up. All the hairstyles with accessories, like hats and bows, are there, and all the other ages have all their hairstyles. I'll try getting screenshots and checking the FAQs

Discussion - Sims 3 Game Problem
Remember, as the message said that displayed before you posted your thread...

If you're having any problem, issue, error, or glitch with your game, that's a job for MTS's Help section. There's both articles with common issues as well as Q&A support forums where you can ask questions and get specific help.

Game Help:Sims 3 Game Problem

Try that first - every step, in order, and don't skip anything! Even if it doesn't say your specific problem, try it anyway, as it's a good starting point to rule out the most common causes of game issues.

If you still have trouble, you can post a new thread in the Help Q&A forums. There's a link to the Help Q&A forums at the top of every FAQ in the Help section. If you do post there, make sure to read and follow the directions that will display before you post there!

Good luck, and happy simming! :)
