I just want to know if others have the same problem. I have now 2 sims in my family that get unselectable after a while. The small picture on the right side gets green and the sim complete dissapears.
Is this a generations bug ? I have it with and without mods.

Sims may have gotten stuck somehow. First thing you should try is to resetsim the bugged sim. When this fails, you can evict the particular sim (or the entire household if you like) and put them right back to the same lot.
If this doesn't fix it, you may have to load an earlier save.

Interesting, I just had that issue as well with one of my saves. Out of curiousity, was the sim you could no longer select an Imaginary Friend turned real?

Is it possible you took the opportunities that let the parents leave only leaving the teens at home for a few days? (at this point the parents would be gone, not available for those few days)

I had the same problem after returning from China. Two of my Sims disappeared, Master Controller's Reset Town did nothing, and when I last wnadered into the game the entire family didn't show up.

That happened to me when I installed first installed Generations. I chalked it up to a corrupted save and started a new family

i had the same problem, and i got really sad since there were two sims i really cared for :(
but i found out that it happened right after my sim called on the phone to throw a bachelor party! and then after the bachelor party was over, they were back to normal again! :)
could it be this has happened to your sim too?
