Kids relationships

I thought that Generations would improve the way kids make new friends, but really everything just remained the same.

I mean, my sim kid spent the whole day playing with his sibling (also a kid) and their relationship barely increased to 1/4 of the relationship bar.

What's the best way to improve the relationship between kids?

Or, if you're lucky/cursed like me - play tag once for 30 seconds and watch their relationship increase daily without ever talking to one another.

Then have to put up with running disease.... no thanks :) Doing Homework together seems to be a good way of getting the relationship up quickly.

I noticed that all of my sims do their homework together autonomously now which I thought was really nice. I do what Laisanae does, tag all day long!
