How to make a smoke machine?

I remember seeing a smoke machine in sims 2 workshop. I can't seem to find it though, but does anybody have an idea how to create a smoke machine for sims 2? I would be so happy if I could obtain/make my own :D

Hi nana,

That would involve adding some effects slots into an object, then tweaking the BHAVs to trigger the effect to play on demand. I'm not sure how much technical experience you have, have you worked with effects or BHAVs before?

It might be a bit of a challenge, since it was written more for people with a bit of package manipulating experience. Give it a go, and if you get lost let me know and I'll try and clarify the parts which are causing your trouble. :)
