accessories attached to hand that disappear when the hand is busy

Is it possible to make an accessory that is attached to a sim's hand, but it will disappear when a sim is for instance eating or doing the dishes? Kinda like how the wine glass from LN disappears when a sim uses his hand for something else. I think this would come in handy for those handbags made so it wouldn't look weird when they are eating.

No, it's not possible to do that. Wine glasses, TV remotes etc. aren't actually accessories - they're objects, which are attached to an object slot in the sim's hand by the interaction's animation files (JAZZ). Unfortunately, this means that it's possible to create and delete objects in the sim's hand during a particular interaction, but not as a general "default" state.
