I didn't see a thread like this, so I decided to make one. :) What stuff pack or store set would you most like? I think we can all agree we're tired of the stuff packs. But some of the store sets are really nice--I have the wedding set and the faire attire, and I might get some of the faire build/buy items. The gothique set is also nice. But what set isn't being offered that you'd like? I think it would be cool to have a holiday stuff pack--or at least a bigger set on the sims 3 store. It would be nice to have a bigger selection of Halloween, Christmas, Easter, and maybe some other holidays. What would you like to see?

I would love a "rags to riches" stuff pack. Rags would have a fully animated sofa bed (ripped and worn or brand new), futon, mini-fridge or any furniture with a grunge-type flair. Riches could be very opulent furniture like the makings of a home theatre or perhaps a huge walk-in closet.

More Club/bar clothing, like in LN, naughty outfits and all that hot and cool clothing for men and women. I just loved LN clothing set that there should be more things like that from EA :)

I want more gothic stuff. I can't get enough of it. My wish is to build an entire victorian-gothic town with gothic architecture and grand cathedrals. I want to dress all my sims in aristocrat clothing (for men) and gothic dresses (for the women).

*sigh* maybe one day.

No matter how impossible (due to the amount of work) it is, I would love an Stuff Pack centered around musical instruments. I mean not just a variety of pianos and guitars, I mean full-blown new instruments from all sections (particularly orchestral strings and woodwinds/brass since they always get the shaft. One more than the other, obviously). That way, the "we don't need anymore instruments" crowd wouldn't have to buy it, but those of us who would like a greater variety would have the option.

I know, it's not happening, but I can dream.

bassoon_crazy,
I agree 100%. I would love to not only have woodwinds/brass instruments, but the reintroduction of the violin as well. The violin was the instrument I used the most in Sims 2 and have been trying to find a way to mod it into the Sims 3 with it being functional.

I also miss the microphone and being able to sing. These were amazing in Sims 2, and just imagine how they will be in Sims 3 with the independent skills and such.

What I want to see LESS of is WASTE OF SPACE items. There is really no point in garbage items that are worthless in-game, just more crap you will never use. Take, for instance, beds. There are dozens of the damn things. There are about 3 of them you will ever use, all others are garbage.

yes, yes and yes...MORE ADDITIONAL GAMEPLAY ITEMS...They keep releasing another set of bed+chair+table+bathtub+counter... and the section that I could drown in is Decor/Misc...please don't give me decorative microphone that I can't sing or decorative harp that I can't play...

Something to do with Space, Future shock stuff was cool, but what about the sonic shower?? That was pretty awesome from TS2.. Was it in TS1 too? Or Holograms etc. Alien type stuff, so not chrome perfection, perhaps organic and inhuman grossness? This could include things like the cow plant.

Fun Fair/Theme Park stuff, for additional gameplay. Rollercoasters etc.

Things/objects that actually give additional gameplay, rather than a variety of objects (like tables, chairs, vehicles, etc) you can get from CC download sites...

I kinda want them to resume making 50's stuff, or even some rockabilly stuff since I don't find much of that stuff around the webs. I mean, Fast Lane had its share of rockabilly, even a rockabilly radio station, I am not complaining but I want moar. More bowling shirts, cuffed t-shirts, two-tone shoes(although there are creepers around and I love'm), better pompadours and quiffs, I dunno, greaser and pinup stuff.

Also, I'd dig some more gothic stuff as well. And gameplay items.

Ooooh, and a mod themed set, you know, the 60's mods from england, quadrophenia and such.

I actually want more plants...to be honest. This might sound funny but I'm tired of using the same plants on my dining table in every single house.

As a serious cook IRL I would love to see better kitchens and a real attempt at making spaghetti with real pasta pots or real chinese with a wok, a gas stove, extractor hood, a deep freeze for bulk cooking, a genuine cooking career take place in a real working kitchen with a Hells Kitchen (Gordon Ramsey) type attitude from the 5 star chefs or waitress buzzing round waiting tables, wine waiters uncorking priceless nectar .. This of course would lead to a Food Critic career for some, and restaurants would be made or broken on a review .. all a dream of course :) If I can't have that, I'll settle for a Jane Austen world with horses and carriages and duels at dawn :)

I’d love if they sold animated mini stuff packs. These packs would focus on the kind of stuff that never makes it into eps because it’s too specific or has too many objects that are similar. They could also release packs that complement the theme of previous eps.

Sets I’d love to see: a fair or amusement park set, casino stuff, objects for a golf course and a miniature golf set, more instruments (I know a lot of people want that.) Sets that I’d like, but should really be in eps: spa stuff, a movie theater set, objects for a bowling alley, and camping stuff.

After pets comes out they could release a farm stuff pack, stuff for a zoo, and an aquarium set (the kind you visit.) If they ever make seasons they could make a sports pack with any sport they don’t include in it (I assume sport will probably come in this ep.)

Agreed ... even a decent single red rose would be nice ...
