Roof Placement Problem

I am trying to place a roof and for some reason, it is "hovering" above where I want it. I can't figure out why and I can't seem to be able to fix it.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you fix it? WHY does it do this???

Here is a pic. It is a Three (3) Story Building.

Dumb question you arnt a story up when trying to place it? Its fully closed in? Flat? Maybe do boolProp constrainfloorelevation false and run the flatten tool across and make sure its flat that way, then try and place again.

No. I'm not a story up. I have 4 places I want to place that particular roof. Looking at it from the FRONT, it places fine on the front left and the back right but not on the back left and front right. Does that makes sense? LOL

I guess NO ONE has EVER had this problem... This must be a brand new occurrence... Odd....
