Edit: If you read this, please read again! I changed the rules a little bit. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hi guys! I don't post very much, and this is my first thread! :D Before I tell you about this challenge, I am warning you:
I HAVE SCHOOL COMING UP IN EARLY SEPTEMBER!
So, I might not be on for a couple of days. I would recommend asking questions this month! ;) Here we go!
The objective is to live a happy adulthood with your spouse (we'll get to that later) and raise two (2) or more children before you and your spouse become elders. Also, you can NOT use any cheats, with the exception of building cheats. However, there are many catches hehe...
Here's how to do this:
First, create a sim (boy or girl, it doesn't matter). Move them in to a lot. Build a house under $20,000. I would recommend to save at least $4,000 for upgrades and paying the bills. Your house must have at least 3 seperate rooms; kitchen/living room, bathroom, and bedroom. Make the house normal (this means no fridges next to a bed, no missing shower in the bathroom, etc.) If something breaks, then you can NOT call the repairman, it will be unlocked later. Your sim must repair it by themselves, or simply buy the item again. Your sim can NOT get a job, the careers are locked for now. You can earn money by selling paintings, or writing novels. There are other ways too. If you have FreeTime, you can use your hobbies to make cash. Also, if you have Open For Business, you can own your own shop. Remember you can't cheat.
Next, create another sim. Make sure it is the opposite gender of your other sim! The same rules apply to your other sim.
After a while, make them fall in love and have babies. When the first child is born, move out of your original house and move in to another one. Build another house (with the money you have) for your family. The children MUST have their own room, making the room minimum 4.
Since you built your house, you are allowed to get a job AFTER a week. If your children become teens, they can NOT get a job. When they become adults, they are allowed to get jobs. All services are now available :) . From then it's pretty easy. If your children become adults (I don't know if that's possible before the parents become elders), you can do whatever you want with them. Just don't kill them  . When you and your spouse become elders, the challenge is complete. There is scoring (optional), but you can make your own like Mai2008 did. There really isn't a winner; this is just for fun.
Scoring:
Good:
+100 for Each Baby Born
+75 for Each Life Stage Grown Up Well
+75 for Each A+ Report Card
+75 for Getting a Job
+50 for Each Promotion
+50 for Getting All Children Into a Private School
+25 for Each Skill a Children Earns
+15 for Each Parent Living Up to Elderhood
Bad:
-150 for Each Death or Social Worker Visit
-100 for Each Divorce
-100 for Each Fire
-75 for Each Life Stage Grown Up Bad
-75 for Each D- Report Card or Lower
-75 for Losing a Job
-75 for Each Demotion
-25 for Each Skill Point Lost At Work
-10 for Each Day Work Is Skipped
-5 for Each Day School Is Skipped
Bye and have a great time with this challenge! :)
P.S. I'm sorry about my grammar. It isn't the best.
