Vampire Thirst Motive Issue

In my Vampire Attack mod, there's this issue of every time the game is loaded the thirst motive is maxed. So say your vampire is starving, you save and quit, and when you load the game back up the vampire is full.

I haven't really given it much thought at the beginning cause I had other issues. When I added a new interaction to the mod that maxed the hunger motive, I thought the same thing would happen with the hunger motive. It did not. The Hunger motive remained unaffected.

So now I am confused since the coding for the two is the same. Anyone have any tips and or suggestions?
