View Full Version : Sims needs a lot of sleep?

It just seem to me that after installing pets, sims seem to spend too much time in bed, and their energy level dropped too quickly. They hardly get anything done in a day! And all of my beds have 10 energy level. One sim even had meditative trance sleep reward.

One other thing is that the government takes away your pet too easily! Even as my sims are trying to 'fix' that pet's problem, the government come and take the away! Sims have other activities besides playing with pets, you know, they have work and kids and other stuff. And they took all the animals, not just the one having problem. Very annoying!

Also, my game's performance is at barely playable level right now, with sims not responding to command, pauses, and objects took their time loading. I think it's because I have a lot of pets, and all their pathfinding problems is bringing the game to a halt. I have 3 dogs, one cat, and one horse. Hey, it's an animal loving family! I've reduced the game's graphic setting (didn't seem to help much, maybe it's a CPU problem, not graphic) and I have far less custom content than ever before.

Here is a mod for the sleeping problems, it works with the Pets patch:

Longer waking hours (http://www.modthesims.info/d/357508)

I love the mod, though 50% is a little much, Sims can last weeks, so down load 20-30%. I have 20%, I think :turtle:

Hope this helps!

Thank you! Just what I needed. Does the meditatitve trance sleep reward broken then? It does not seem to have any effect. This mod's gonna come in handy since my sim just gave birth to a twins! Plus they have a toddler as well, and a horse. Needless to say they're as busy as a beaver.

there is also a mod for changing the speed at which time moves in the game. It's called the Relativity mod. You can find it here.

Check out all the other great mods on this site, especially the Master Controller. It's similar to the Insiminator in Sims 2. Basically lets you change ANYTHING at all about your game. Not recommended for those with low willpower because it can ruin your game if you use it too much. But it is the only way I've found to get a new Life Wish once you fulfill the first one.
