I have newest update 1.26 everything but gen and pets. installed. I don't know what a world is or some of the towns??? I find that when I start my game I have one, what town, world, city to go into. So I want to place a club, can't find a "lot" that is big enough to place it in. So I make my own, which is a big ends up being a pit, (high sides,etc...) how do I fix that. Is there some sort of hand holding instructions? I have downloaded most of everything from Oregon and have nothing to go on...What a knob I feel like. Where can I go for a explanation.
I have changed lot sizes and placed clubs and laundromat now my game will not save, even after 10 hrs. Please read all of this post and point me in the direction of the information that I need. I have spent tons of money and do not understand..Sorry

There's a discussion and help on using the cheat in the Building section here http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=426932&highlight=lot+elevation
Moved to Building.

There's a lot going on in your post :P
um, hmm. The uneven lots, if you want nice pretty edges you should place new lots on flat areas. Or if you want to place them on uneven terrain you need to use the terrain tools in build mode to smooth your lot. This also shows up when you place ready made lot on a lot thats elevation is wrong for it (flat lot on an elevated lot and vise versa). The post that Ella linked to helps with these.
The rest looks a lot more like a computer issue, placing clubs and laundromats doesn't make your game not save. You either have some bad custom content, or you have computer issues. Computer issues you should post on the Help section of the site.

You can just demolish lots in the worlds. Click on them and select to kick out the family if someone lives there. You can choose to move them in somewhere else or just forget about them. Then demolish the lot, click on the lot size selector in edit town mode, and place a lot the size you want on the place you just demolished. Be prepared for the lot to be uneven some places though. Just flatten the lot, og use the smooth terrain tool.
Remember you can place a community or residential lot on a bigger empty lot, but not on a smaller one. So try making smaller lots when you build something.

Also, don't forget to change the lot type. (Maybe you already know this, but it's something I forget to do myself sometimes!) Some building/lots are picky about where you put them. All empty lots that you place in Edit Town mode are "Residential" by default. If you make or download an Exclusive Lounge, for example, then try to place (or replace) it in your world, all the lots that aren't labeled as "Exclusive Lounge" will disappear and be unavailable. So if the building/lot will fit, size-wise, on a particular empty lot in your world, then just select the empty lot in Edit Town mode, click the first button on the bottom left on the window, click the Community Lot button, then the "Choose A Lot Type" button, then select the correct type of lot from the list that appears. Hope this helps!
