Takes money to make money?

I was wondering, I want to make a bakery business for my sim, but do I have to pay my sim's own money to built it (on a community lot)? Like, if I were to built a huge bakery, does the cost of owning it include the cost of the walls, flooring, furniture, etc like when you buy a new house?

Sorry if this sounds confusing, I don't know how to explain it...

Yes. It is taken from your household's income.

Yes, the cost includes everything you put in. If your sim is low on money - dont use the most expensive stuff.

I found its a lot more realistic to use the loanjars and such when you want to keep it realistic and yet have a business even though your Sim is kind of poor. Its a good way to get the money and then pay it all back later.
