I got Lolita Goth in my game! :D

hey guys :P nothing new here except my obsession with the goth family has expanded to new heights. I heard about a ghost in the game called Lolita and i knew i had to be able to play her. Then i heard that you can bring some ghosts back witht the oh my ghost opportunity. I didn't know if it was possible to get her because since she's already dead and everyone she knows is dead then i couldn't have someone with a high relationship get her. At first i was a little peaved but then i tried something: with a different family (jon lessen in riverview) i used a wife of his to get destry dixon back. Since the wife had never met destry before so I assumed it wouldn't work but the wife was the one with the opportunity, not jon lessen. Playable ghost wondering around riverview!! Now i dont know if the oh my ghost opportunity is supposed to bring them back alive but i didn't care! since that wasnt my objective i deleted ol' dixon from my game. But afterwards i immediately ran over to the goths and waited until someone from the household got the chance. Bella ironically was the one who got it and i repeated what i did in riverview. Then i put lolita in her own household so i wouldnt have a crowded space. later i used testingcheatsenabled to edit her in CAS and saved her to my sim bin. (for those of you who dont know, sims you save will be in the custom content area.) i deleted the ghost version then put the alive one in regular gameplay. Now she's got her own house and everything. i'm not sure if there are other ways to get her back. you could probably add her to the active household when she's a regular ghost using testingcheatsenabled but this way was way more fun.
Also since i've read Lolita by Vladimir Nobokov it makes things even better. I'm gonna make a little fantasy come true and remake the book/movie in my game. I don't recommend reading it unless you're an upperclassman in high school or in college. It's pretty hardcore. Plus the movie was lame so don't even bother with it. :D

If you feed a playable ghost Ambrosia (the dish that makes living sims younger) it will bring them back to life. That's the "real" way to do it.

*LOL* in a past Nickname I was a Channel operator on a spanking channel on the undernet. My partner was nicked Lolita. I was Little Bird and my safeword was ouch. You would be suprised the number of people that didnt get it. We even tried Lolita Lollypop. BTW all we were there for was to ban the co-channeling jerks that were trying to flood the kids channels with scene text. Thats one of the really nice things about Sims 3, It appeals to a wide range of tastes.
