Are there meals that don't go bad?

My level 10 cooking Sim is about to die and I thought I'd have her cook some meals for her family to eat after she's gone. Is there a way to preserve food longer than the most expensive fridge?

I tried putting meals in a WA chest and after a day the Egg Rolls and Angel Food Cake went bad, but the Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches are still good. So I was wondering if there are certain foods that might not go bad.

I'm doing a challenge, so I can't use a feature that's not part of the game. I'm hoping that since the Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches aren't going bad, maybe there are other food that won't. Or is it just a glitch?

I believe, and don't hold me to this, that if you get a more expensive fridge that the food lasts longer... but I haven't heard of any food that doesn't spoil period (besides the raw ingredients, of course).

Yes, I also think that's true - food keeps longer in the expensive fridges. And I don't think pancakes ever spoil.
Food never spoils in the fridge that's the reward for completing the Chef career, the MinusOne Kelvin, but I don't know if there's a cheat to get it. There was a modded version here - I think it's still available.

Raw fruit doesn't go bad. In fact, sims can haul raw fruit around in their inventory forever, without even needing a fridge, and eat it whenever.

The only non-cheating way that I know of is the culinary career fridge reward. Food NEVER spoils in it. There are mods to make it buyable, one here on MTS and one on MATY.
