I recently stumbled upon this video on YouTube of a woman upset about not being able to receive Chicken McNuggets.
Original Video seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kH3JSs0fnGQ&feature=related
Well.. this does not surprise me. Moral: People do stupid things for stupid reasons...
But just for laughs.. I found a dubbed video of it..
If only the audio in this dubbed video of the indecent was real.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzakIu1vjSo#!
Would you smash a drive-through window if you couldn't receive Chicken McNuggets at this hour?

Moral: People in America do stupid things for stupid reasons...
Fixed that for ya. I've lived in four countries and people are pretty much the same everywhere. Some are great, and some are total numbskulls.
A few weeks ago, I saw a guy pick a fight with a kid who couldn't have been older than 10, because the kid talked shit to the guy after the guy got the kid kicked out of McDonald's (along with the kid's group of friends, because they came in and sat down and started drinking energy drinks without buying anything so the manager asked them to leave). A group of people had to hold the guy back from pummeling the kid, just cos he'd said something snotty.
So maybe it should be "People do stupid things because of the fumes from McDonald's"?

Good grief! That video makes the phrases "Sense of Entitlement" and "First World Problems" come immediately to mind...
And yes, the correct statement is "People do stupid things for stupid reasons." Being originally from America, having lived in two different countries as well as several different parts of America, and having lived long enough to become "a lady of a certain age", I've seen more than enough stupidity to know that Americans definitely don't have exclusive rights to it, oh no.
Loved the second video, definitely prefer that version!

Welcome to my life as a security gaurd, and to think here in America (yes america other countries have more respect for private security) most gaurds are getting paid less then a new hire at McDonalds; Plus they get better benifits.

It's not ignorant if the statistics show it to be true...and it's not ignorant if you've been to a lot of places and are simply stating what you've observed. I've heard that Minnesota is among the worst btw.
*wonders how Ohio ranks*

From what I've seen, about 50.8%- 63.1% of Americans are overweight or obese. Canada's about 51%- 61.1%, Dordracio.
So, what you're saying is true. "Most" Americans are overweight, but so are "most" Canadians, broham. I don't really get how it's relevant though, other than just shits and giggles. I suppose that's what this thread's about though.
Percentages: now QQ (http://www.cdc.gov/obesity/data/trends.html)

I agree, Americans don't have the monopoly on stupidity, but from what I've seen (on TV/Youtube etc - I've never been to the US) it appears they react to it more inappropriately. This is going by my British standards by the way - I would hope that the majority of my countrymen/women wouldn't react that badly, whatever age they were!
And exactly WHY did we get into a debate regarding obesity?? I wouldn't say the girl in the video was overweight - not by our standards anyway; she was just wearing baggy clothes. But it seems that the American perception of "fat" includes what we Brits would say is healthy. :(

Obesity is pretty common everywhere these days. But saying all Americans are fat except for people from California ~ well that is ignorant.

I'm overweight but actually working to change that. I actually look about average here in Ohio.
People need to stop looking at number of calories and start looking at what's actually in stuff. If you can't pronounce it, it's very likely a Do Not Want.

Actually did you know stress can pack on more weight then eating habits. Think of that next time you worry over your calorie count.
yeah I am origionally from Wisconsin back there I would be considered anarexic looking, and I have a bit of a tummy. AH the cheese state where cars drive side ways and straighten up when the owners get out.
But where I come form where "If I kill it, I eat it" (Yes, that applies to roadkill deer, ducks :duck: , geese , rabbits :bunny: , and even rarer other animals :wtf: , well that is if there is anything left ediable and not crushed by tires), and "if you don't like it starve or shut up."
PS: Should state as far as I am aware all I ever eaten was a freshly killed pre-tenderized deer.
