Not to be a whiner, but does anyone else find the pet accessories bland? XD When I heard the sims 3 was having a pets extension that was much improved, I was thinking pets would have more accessories like more collars, bows, hats, or anything silly. I don't know, maybe I played Nintendogs too much in my youth. XD I hope they some out with something or someone makes something for them. :D

I'm sure someone will create custom content like sweaters, etc. They might even release it in The Sims 3 Store. I don't really like all that, personally--I remember the Pets version on PS2 had sunglasses, pants, and all kinds of crazy stuff . . .

I saw a sweater here on MTS

I'm going to agree with the fact that the accessories for pets are quite lacking.
Also, If you -or anyone else- are looking for some clothing for your virtual dogs, you can always give this a try: http://modthesims.info/d/459422

I'd love to see an Elizabethian Collar for the dogs.

I agree. I remember TS2 Pets for PS2 actually had a ballet tutu for the cats. I thought it was so cute :P I expected them to put things like that in TS3 Pets as well, but sadly they didn't.

I'd love to see an Elizabethian Collar for the dogs.
I used to work in a veterinary office and got so used to seeing dogs in Elizabethan collars that I thought my dogs at home looked weird without one.

Yup, quite a lot of CC available around the net now :)
As for Elizabethan collars, cats have to wear those too if they have a problem you don't want them licking... or something on their face you don't want them scratching. But boy, it's about the last thing I'd want in my sims game :/ My kitties at least do NOT like em.

I can't believe Pets didn't come with bandanas. They look awesome on dogs and they're popular too. I made a Dodger pet for the game and he looks off without the red bandana he wears : /

I have the Japanese Bobtail in my game and I'd love to have a big bow for her neck like the cat in a movie I saw recently, The Sea Is Watching. (Obviously I can live without it. Just thought I'd mention.)

One of the loading screen icons is a dog with glasses. I was a bit disappointed to find there were no dog glasses in the game.

It's really sad that there aren't any clothes in the game, they should have had some! I'm not a fan of animals wearing clothes in reality, but in the Sims it would be so cute!

Here's a list of pet stuff I'd like to see in, perhaps, a Pet Stuff pack:
For Horses:
Halters (with leads. It just looks weird when they're leading them and there's no lead.)
More bridle styles
Aussie Saddles
Horse Feed (Like oats, beet pulp, sweet feed)
Bell Boots
Splint Boots
Horse costumes (like an Arabian costume or war horse armor)
A Useable carriage or buggy (So my sims can hitch up the horse and go out for a day on the town together)
More mane and tail styles
FULLER manes and tails or sliders that adjust the fullness of same
Bigger, fluffier feathers for the feet (my Gypsy Vanners just don't look right with the meager feathering provided)
Better sliders for the body that can be adjusted to a greater extent (so I can make stockier horses)
Minis, Ponies and Draft breeds (that are scaled properly for their breeds. My draft horses should not be the same height as my Arabians and my Shetland Ponies.)
A Lunge Line
A hotwalker (Perhaps give it the effect of taking less time for the horse to cool down after getting worn out)
A barn door the horses can use that's NOT 2 stories tall
Hay Loft Doors and Ladders
More Stall styles
For Dogs and Cats -
More collar choices
Dog clothes
More toys
More bed choices
An agility Course (mostly for the dogs)
Cat Walks (Interconnecting High shelves that cats can use to get around the house)
And, for All -
Fur length sliders
More Marking Choices

Oh definitely agree with everyone here about more pet accessories. I've been on horse property building sprees, and it's kind of boring to keep putting the same accessories into the different barns, though some people have come out with some nice horse items :) More would definitely be awesome, though.
Fur length sliders would be awesome, as well as the horse mane alterations. And everything Graceria said, I agree with.

They should also have stable/winter blankets, polo wraps(though splint boots would be fine by me, too, without the polo's in game), more bridles of all kind(English and Western), and more saddles with BETTER placement instead of being too far back on the horses! That irritates me to no end. T-T They should also use fly masks and make a "irritated/bitten by fleas" negative moodlet if the mask isn't on when flies are being a bother. They also need more toys for horses; my horse loves her jolly ball, but she also loves playing with buckets and her stall snack(which we put outside on a tree, because then it doesn't attract bees into her stall, which is open for her to go in and out of). She also loves tipping over her hay bucket and playing with her hay. I guess that, being the only horse here right now, she's gotta entertain herself somehow! And so do the lonely horsies on the Sims 3. ;w;

Graceria, there is a lead. It appears when you lead the horse the same way a leash appears when you walk a dog.
Also screwing with the height of the horses would be basically impossible just like screwing with the height of a sim is. You'd need to change every animation in the game for it to look right.
