Couldn't find any other topics about this, so here we go!

What class is your favorite and least favorite to play in TS: Medieval? (By class, I mean monarch/wizard/priest and such.)

I think the wizards would be the coolest, but I have to say that I think the medic's are a lot more fun to play. The "Dr. Love" questline is brilliant, and the whole job is so silly when you put leeches on your poor patients and such!

As for my least favorite, I have never understood how to play the merchant. I've tried a couple of times but I always fail my daily duties. What are you supposed to do anyway? I always find it incredibly confusing on how you're supposed to buy stuff from the city, to then sell it somewhere by boat (and still KNOW wtf the country want to buy) and then lastly get that special goodies for selling at your own market. Tedious and confusing!

My favourite is the Monarch and the Wizard, my least favourite is the Doctor.

if you go to the territory map, you can click on a kingdom and see what it will trade what for what.

My favourite is the Spy and usually the richest, I steal funds and pickpocket all the time. I also like the Monarch and the Wizard. My least favourite are both priests. I hate their daily duties, boring... and I hate giving sermons...

I remember when I first played the Merchant I was confused too, but it's not that difficult after you get a grip on it. Maybe this will help you http://www.carls-sims-medieval-guide.com/heroes/merchant.php it did wonders for me.

my favorite, and this goes for pretty much every game (especially TF2) is the spy. nuff said

my least favorite would be the bard or the orthodox priest (the one who wears cheap clothing and lives in a s***hole) i guess... although pretty much every class except the spy, monarch, knight and wizard are boring cause they can't fight..

I tend to play the knight and bard the most. My least favorite to play is the merchant because their daily responsibilities are so tedious and take forever. Yeah you can just not do them... but even just selling stuff from the market stall gets old quick.

Fave: Blacksmith~ It's such a productive class that always has something to do :D And wizards have awesome spells of course~ though I also love the doctor's tendancy to throw leeches in everyone's face XD and Jacoban Priest is full of evulz and has an awesome cathedral. ..BUT, most fave is Blacksmith yes.

Least fave: the merchaaaant. XU The dailies for merchant confuse me to no end so that class is useless for me. But for sake of completing my kingdom I make one anyway, but usually as a character I dislike. (like myself *SHOT*)

I'd have to say for faves it's a tie between knight and wizard. They don't have twenty million villagers and hero sims marching through their homes like the physician, blacksmith and bard do.

Monarchs I like okay, unless I make one dedicated they seem to have little to do (I guess that's the idea?). I like bards but I can't stand the lute music. I steer them towards the fiddle unless the lute's a responsibility.

Merchants make me crazymad. It seems like something goes wrong with those trade quests and they come up empty-handed. That bugs me about the blacksmiths too- I mean the sword or whatever's in their inventory, how come they can't give it? Priests can be nerve-wracking because their popularity/fear levels drop so easily. I've never had any of the congregation get mad because the priest was late to the sermon though even though the game warns about it (my Jacoban priest takes forever because he's either stuck in the reflect-on-watcher animation or he gets distracted and starts reading a book or wanting to mail something.

When the Merchant comes back from a sailing trip the items don't automatically go to their inventory, you need to go back on the ship and get them from the cargo hold.

And I don't understand the part about the Blacksmith, do you mean that after making some fine equipment they can't give it to the Knight or the Monrach? Because if that's what you mean then you can drag the items from Blacksmith's inventory on to another person and when you later play with that person the item should be there.

My favourite class is the spy. Maybe the knight, monarch and maybe the blacksmith too.

I can't stand playing with my merchant and bard, there's just not enough action going on at their quest :(

Once a King, always a King.
Once a Knight, is never enough.

I prefer the Knight and Spy. I also like the Physician too but I can never seem to keep them happy regardless of what traits they have.

I don't much like the merchant - I don't know why but I seem to have the worst luck with those random pop up things that have possible mood effects when I play the merchant. Last night I painfully did an entire quest with the merchant who had constant red mood, all because of my 'winning' choices *sigh*
