View Full Version : Say hello to the Sninge Pit, a tiny tomb for Sunset Valley!

This is the first tomb I have ever made for The Sims 3. It is built on the smallest lot size given by the game, but has four basement levels. In order to use this tomb, you must have World Adventures and Ambitions. You must also have the most recent :report: patch for The Sims 3. The link to the file and its screenshots are below (the screenshots are small, but should give a general idea of what the floors and the surface are like.)

The story behind this tomb is that it was once home to a small and bizzare group of ninjas known as the Sninge. Plaques in the tomb will tell you about them (one of them will even tell you how most of them died and will reveal the name of a future tomb I will make when I am creative enough.) The area above the tomb has items that can be used to train in martial arts as well as a hidden staircase to the tomb below (look for something suspicious.) Though the Sninge Pit is small, it can be tricky to beat and doing so will likely take longer than you might think it would. Be sure to have at least two body points before entering this place, as a certain secret door needs to be opened manually. For reaching the final room, a Halls of the Lost Army signet is one of the treasures you can find. If you have any comments or questions, just post them here.

I guess I should be extremely grateful if even one person downloads this...

This is not something I threw together in just a few minutes, and the tomb should be rather memorable. One puzzle even uses the processor, and some traps can't be destroyed no matter what. I have some images below of some freak I made exploring the Sninge Pit.

I promise you, this tomb does not suck. I tested everything in it and it will take more time to complete it than you would expect. I have placed traps in here that can't be destroyed and are hidden. Once those traps are activated, they will roast their victims, and then they will re-hide and re-arm. If activated again, they will fire again, and then re-hide and re-arm again. Even if they are examined, revealed, and then crossed sucessfully, they will still re-hide and re-arm. There is no destroying these traps, for they are eternal. In the pictures with Hogart Bob in them, he finds out just how devious these traps are, and they are all fire traps too. While running around in the indoor clover garden, he can get blasted again, and again, and again... It just depends on how many times he is stupid enough to end up on top of another one of the traps (or the same one that ignited him in the first place.)

This isn't the only tomb I will make either. Below are links to the layouts of future tombs I will complete.

Krypt of Klas Gramar B2 Layout (http://i1203.photobucket.com/albums/bb399/Nolornbon/KryptOfKlasGramarB2Layout.jpg)

The Sninge Pit file is on a safe and trustworthy site, so it shouldn't be hard to get. Maybe I should post a video of some of the tomb's noteworthy elements?

Please bear in mind that this subforum is for advertising your own website. If you want to use MTS as the place for posting your creations directly, use the Upload Items function under the Create menu - after, of course, reading the Creator Guidelines. :)

I would, except that the image guidelines are tricky to follow.

They are, especially if you're not used to them, but it's very easy to make pics which meet the guidelines once you know how. In the Creator Guidelines, there's a section called Screenshot Basics which contains lots of info about camera controls, how to compress files to under the 250kb limit without losing all the quality, etc. We're also working on another FAQ which will be a bit more in-depth, you'll see it in the Guidelines soonish. :)

That avatar of yours is one of the most original things I have ever seen in my entire life. :)

I do have Gimp, so if your guide addresses that program, I can simply follow what it says. If indeed I can get my lot onto this site, that would be wonderful. I examined the sims3pack that the lot comes in, and all I see is three thumbnails of the lot and the basic sims3pack file. It should be noted that my lot does not use any custom content, and according to CUSTARD, no custom content comes with the lot. I don't use any store content either, and I never will.

I uploaded my lot to the site, so there is no need to come to this topic anymore. Gimp is a very nice painting program.
