Im using S3PE and im trying to modify a CC paiting by qbuilders., :help: Im attempting to change the image in the match things pictures, because an AMAZING job was done with the frame and frame boarder. I just can not get the image to change. Im so confused. If anyone would be willing to help me id be more than appreciative! What ive done:
Cloned the object in S3OC, opened up the clone in S3PE, found the IMG files, disabled all but one, exported that one to my desktop. Opened it in Photoshop CS5, placed my image over the original image. Flattened the image, and saved it. Went back into S3PE and replaced that IMG file with the one i had just created. Saved the whole project as a .package file, placed it in my packages folder and ran the game.
The file doesnt show up at all in game  . What am I doing wrong? Im just learning to create cc, and have learned how to create wall art with TSR Workshop, which is nice. The only problem is, TSRW doesnt allow the editing of CC files, so now im trying to learn how to use S3PE to edit this file to make a wall hanging.
Im really sorry if this wasnt/isnt clear, if you need clarification ill edit the post. Thank you in advance, im sorry for being such a noob :help:

I do, all of my other CC in my package folder is appearing, even the wall art i attempted to clone and edit. Its just the new .package that i am creating and placing in my game that is not appearing.

Oh you did start off from a .package wall art then? Not a sims3pack? So it's not a problem related to turning TSRW content into a package. Would you like to quickly compare the two packages and make sure they both have the same number of resources inside them, and that the one you cloned has got all different Instance numbers for its resources? After that we can start looking at what you might have done in greater detail

Okay, so when i cloned my object and opened it in S3PE (not doing anything else to it), i had 54 resources inside it. When I opened the original, there were 65 inside. And from what I can tell, the instance numbers are different. By the way, id like to thank you so much for your help. You dont know how much i really appreciate it and how much it means to me.

Well I hope I *do* end up being some help - and you're not left as stumped when I have finished as you are now lol! Can you give a link to the Qbuilderz painting you downloaded so I can also try cloning it and see what happens to the missing resources?

Sure! Its right here, i tried to clone both and got the same result in game, but the statistics i gave you were from the horizontal painting http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=450979
I just want more wall art and really like the amazing frame on this photo! :) with TSRW you can only clone base game and ep items not CC so im trying to learn S3PE and S3OC lol

Hmm after conferring with oth4er experienced creators, they have reminded me you deleted images. You can't actually do that without also deleting the references,, else the object will be looking for something that doesn't exist, and will error
I think that is what happened.

I think the first thing you should try is cloning that original QBuilderz painting in S3OC, renumber etc, and put in game. If it appears in game you have cloned it correctly. Then go get texture tweaker and follow OrangeMittens tutorial.

Renumber is one of the boxes in S3OC when you hit "Clone or Fix...". You probably had it ticked the first time :p .

You see, for every image in a package, there is a data field somewhere else in your package that has the name or number of that image and thinks it should be in the package. If you want to delete an image, you have to also tell that data field what you did and fill in the name or number of a different image that *does* still exist. You can't realistically do that by hand, but if you learn to use the various tools, by following tutorials that introduce you to them, the tools will take care of it.
