Sim Sitting inside of custom sofa :/

Does adjusting the slots fix this or do I have to go more in depth?

Also theres a weird red tent when I put the couch under a light.

Sim animations are designed for a certain height of chairs and sofas etc - you could reduce the height of the seat a little in the mesh. If you move the slot I think the sim's feet may not touch the floor.

No idea on the tent.

You need to change the slot placements in the rig file to fix the seating height, the newest version of s3pe lets you do this, or possibly the newest test version.
