Butler doesn't move

I have a butler, and I've had him for a few days. But one day after he arrived he just stood in front of the sink and he doesn't move and you can't interact with him, which means that I can't fire him. And he's just taking up space and everyone is getting annoyed. Please help me!

Have you tried resetting him? In the cheat control bar (hit CTRL + SHIFT + C to access it) type in "resetsim firstname lastname". Of course, where "firstname lastname" is, would be the name of the butler. =)

I also had this problem with the butler she would not stop sleeping in her bed. I resetsim and she disappeared. When I hired another butler via phone the same one showed up again. I hope this helps.

Soltions

1. Does he have any jobs to do?
2. Reset him
3. Fire, and rehire the butler.
4. Copy your family and start a new game.
