I know they don't age when you are on vacation but I was wondering do they age at all. My son became friends with Bebe Hua(China) and I thought it would be sweet if they grew up together, now he is a Teen while she is still a kid. Is there a way to make her age? I have Twallan's Story Progression and Master Control mods and wondering if there is an option to age foreign sims.

I have Twallan's Story Progression, and would like to know the same thing. I've gotten notices that Young Adult and Adult foreign Sims that my Sunset Valley Sims made friends with have died of old age, but the foreign children don't seem to age. It looks weird that their parents are elders and they are still children.

Can't you just enable testingcheats, then Shift+click on the sim and select "trigger age transition"?

Foreignians do age, but not in a smooth, gradual manner like sims at home do, because Foreignia is only updated when you do something to trigger a mass update, like going there. This usually results in your sim being forcibly married to some dead guy and finding itself in the possession of a kid that it never knew it had. Little things like "being a female", "being already married", and "not knowing who the hell that guy is" don't prevent this at all.

It wouldn't let you do that, it will be grayed out saying "This sim cannot age."

I finally found a solution to the problem, if you install Twallan's Traveler mod, go to another country, click on any computer, and set "Treat like vacation" to false, then you can manually age the sims there.
